if i could give this place a zero i would. this was the most horrifying fast food experience i have ever had in my entire life. my husband and i rolled into whataburger around 1:00 am expecting to have subpar low-quality fast food quickly. however, we were quickly disappointed. we were in line for an HOUR AND A HALF. that’s right people, 90 minutes. waiting for the most mid fast food you can imagine. no one was even in front of us. we were at the order box for half an hour before anyone would even take our order. the line wasn’t even that long! like 3-4 cars in front of us. i feel violated. the amount of time i wasted… my husband and i both have an EARLY morning tomorrow. whataburger was the only place open at this time. we’ll be lucky if we get nearly enough sleep. i want you all to know that i’ve never left a bad review in my life. but my principles simply cannot stand for this. i genuinely felt like i was in an episode of the twilight zone. it was INSANITY. it is 2:45 in the morning and we still have not gotten our food. i feel anger beyond measure. it is difficult to express in words. ALSO worth noting, we have been to this whataburger location before. we were prepared for a ridiculous wait time because that is what we ALWAYS have to deal with. but this was other worldly. and there is no way to leave. the drive through it completely blocked off. even if we wanted to go elsewhere , we could not. i will be calling whataburger corporate in the morning. i will behave like some kind of boomer karen (even tho i am a 23 year old service worker who feels deep empathy for fellow customer service employees). i simply cannot excuse this. this experience has truly enraged me. i want to type more words because i am STILL sitting in line. but i will save it for corporate. god bless you if you choose to frequent this location. you will need...
Read moreThis was the first time I have ever been to a whataburger keep in mind I come all the way from California and sit down to try some place new aside from the usual McDonald’s or sonic. as soon as we walk in the restaurant I get straight to ordering, the first thing I noticed was that the worker seemed almost scared to take my order! And I know you may be thinking “you must looks very scary for that to happen” but I look like the average 17yo girl so it was strange, I get my order taken and sit down and my step mom notices that the workers keep looking at us but we haven’t gotten out number called so it was confusing as to why they where looking at us. 15 minutes passed by and we keep getting these stares and still no food! A worker walks up to us with a bag and I asked if they had called out order and she said or should I say “whispered” yes and I apologized and I said thank you for the food and had asked her for some chili and she said ok and walks back and instead with the chili she walks back and cleans the table next to us so I thought she had asked another worker, I had ordered a shake and had not gotten it yet so I go up and let a worker know so I can get it and low and behold the girl I had asked for chili comes running and hands it to me and it was not like they where short staffed there was plenty of people that where dozing off in their conversations! I have never had worse service in my life this was overall ridiculous and will not...

I placed a curbside order at 8:13 PM and didn’t leave until 8:56 PM—a 43-minute wait for a to-go meal. I even called the store at 8:45 and was told my food would be brought out. It wasn’t. Another customer who arrived after me got their food first. Only then did a staff member ask if I was still waiting and finally brought my order.
Turns out my food had been sitting under the heat lamp the entire time. The Dr Pepper Blackberry Shake had to be remade on the spot because it was no longer presentable (on the plus side, my wife loved the shake).
Unfortunately, the rest was a mess:
Cold burgers
Terrible fries (I had to reheat them in my air fryer)
One burger was supposed to have everything except mustard, but came completely plain
A manager (I believe named Dan) spoke with me but said there was nothing they could do about a refund because it was an online order.
I spent $44 for what was supposed to be a quick meal. For that price and time, I could’ve sat down at Applebee’s, ordered three full-size burgers with drinks and fries, tipped 20%, and still spent less money for better service and food. Chili’s and BWW offer similar deals.
Really disappointed this time. Hopefully they can improve the curbside process, because this was not Whataburger’s best. At least, I...
