My son and I went for a special Mother's Day luncheon. Our waiter was nice, but strange. He was walking away sideways when he asked how the food was, I said "okay" and he was so happy he continued walking with no comment. No offer for dessert, coffee or more beverages. It was not a $50. luncheon type service. The Veal Marsala, was a good portion, the sauce literally ran off the plate and was not flavorful. ($18.50) My son had Veal Parmigiana which he liked, his side of Linguine Alfredo he took home to eat and threw the whole thing out. It was disgusting. ($18.50) I can't say everything was "bad", but it's not worth the high pricing of the entrees. I've gone several times and tried many of the entrees with fair results, the only thing I would go back for is the Blackened Salmon Panini, it's great and the price is fair - oh and the Pear/Walnut Salad is always great. For $50. I can feed 3 people a great meal with appetizers, beverages and desserts, I can make my own good panini's and salad at home. For a bill of $50. for only 2 people and 1 beverage, no appetizer or dessert I expect it to be wonderful, memorable and something to talk about. Not happening there. I notice the "great" reviews don't have any names attached, just "google user" so I would question...
Read moreThis rating is only based on my last experience. I usually love the food and service but when we (party of 6) went here for Sunday brunch, it was not a good experience. The waitress forgot our orders, we had to ask multiple times for drinks, including water, and it took her five tries to get our check corrected. All of this can be overlooked if it hadn’t been for the food. I’ve gotten the pancakes many times before, but on this day they were thin and burned and the bacon (that I did not order) was black. The manager (maybe owner) stopped by to ask how things were so I gave him my feedback on the pancakes and explained that I’ve gotten them many times before and they weren’t the same this time. He didn’t seem to really care and also didn’t offer any solution except that they’ll “go back to the original recipe just for me” next time. I didn’t feel like the exchange was genuine and this was from the owner. It’s really a shame. Lucia’s used to be my favorite restaurant. I wish I had gone somewhere else for my...
Read moreI've driven by the restaurant a couple different times on my way from Woodstock to Alpharetta & thought my husband & I needed to stop. We decided to make a trip here tonight, 6/14/20, to try it out.
We got there around 5. We were greeted within a couple of minutes of walking in the door & seated. Our server greeted us within a minute of sitting down & took our drink order.
We placed our order for our entrees & 2 garden salad. We should have split a side salad because they are rather large. It had a good mixture of mixed greens & fresh spinach, with tomatoes, cucumbers & carrot shavings on it as well.
I had the lasagna for dinner, my husband had a pasta & broccoli dish. My lasagna was pretty good. I think the next time we go here, I'll try to eat their angel hair pasta & the meat balls.
The food was reasonably priced. For our 2 entrees, my husband's 2 mixed drinks, my iced tea & our 2 salads came to around $63, which isn't bad for all the food we got.
We will...
