I have been here a couple of times now and I will separate my rating by food vs service.
Both times I have come w/friends and have done the dine-in option. I think after both times, I will just be making my order to-go from now on.
Service=2stars The service here is painfully slow! Just getting acknowledged or even to get a menu has been a challenge both times as the place was basically empty when we got there. It looks like a majority of their business is for delivery and that seems to be where their focus is, even if you have sat yourself at a table. After that, just getting your order taken or even your drinks is at a snails pace. The last time we were there, we finally got our drink orders taken and then waited for what felt like forever for them because the guy who took our order (I would imagine he's the owner) then proceeded to take a couple of phone orders and then bring out orders for delivery pick-up from the kitchen before even filling our drinks. Once our food orders were placed, they came out somewhat quickly.
Food=3stars I have only tried their egg rolls, mongolian beef, and shrimp lo mein and all three have been pretty good. Large portion sizes for the price, though it looks like you get a much better value on their lunch specials vs their dinner pricing. I have yet to try their lunch special, but will do so next time.
The shrimp lo mein is not amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but the number and size of the shrimp are generous and it isn't overly greasy/oily and has good flavor, which is what has brought me back. Their actual lo mein is decent as well and has a generous noodle portion (not the overly veggied/cabbage you tend to get at a lot of other places). Their mongolian beef is a very generous portion as well and is very flavorful especially when accompanied by...
Read moreJust tried this place out because I was in the mood to try something different. I was worried some reviews made it seem like a hit or miss. I decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did. I called in my order for pick up, despite the rain the drive wasn't too far from where I live. When I called it in the guy was quick and got my order right he seemed nice. I get there it's in a nice little shopping strip near Chase bank. I walked in and was nervous since the place was completely empty but could be because of the weather. I was greeted promptly the cashier and the waiter who greeted me were both friendly and hospitable. My food was ready and hot. I paid and was in and out in no time. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, Pan fried pork dumplings and the Mongolian chicken. I tore into the dumplings first and they were hot which is great because that means they were cooked fresh to order. They were delicious and they were packed full of goodness. Then I went for the sweet and sour chicken and holy moly it was awesome. The chicken was tender and juicy, the breading was great it wasn't over breaded like some places. Plus bonus was they totally give you lots of food. It's like 2.5 meals for the price of 1. The Mongolian chicken was very good. It definitely lived up to its spicy reputation. Now, would I recommend this place? Heck yeah I would! Get delicious food and lots of it for the same price as everyone else you'd be crazy if you pass...
Read moreIm really not sure how this place has so many good reviews. I should of followed my gut about this placeand walked out before waisting my money and lunch break. Its obvios they never clean. Its all self service. Even the coulple utilities that were rapped in towns on the tables were covered in dust. Now to the food The egg roll had a nice initial crunch. Then was raw on the inside/not edible..the seaseme chicken was not good at all . Was under cooked probably starting to spoil and Has WAY too much fat/skin left on it. The rice was very bland. And i also ordered a wonton soup. Cooked at wayy to high ov heat and served scalding hot. I endee up throwing out 90% of the food. At the mushy soup after it cooled down enough just to have something to get me through the day. This it my third time eating here. First time u was already feeling sick so i figured iy was maybe my taste buds but then was more sick. Second was very mediocre. This time not edible so i wont be back. Im sure yhey would be shut down if...
