If you are looking for the best fresh Tex-Mex around, look no further than Chuy’s in Round Rock. Not only does Chuy’s offer the best Tex-Mex you can find, but it also offers unsurpassed customer service. At every visit, Chuy’s provides exceptional service and prepares our entrees to perfection. I cannot say I’ve ever had a bad meal, a mediocre meal, or poor service. Never one complaint! It’s simply fabulous every time. When it is busy, there can be a wait time, but it’s so worth the wait!
Chuy’s has a fun and inviting atmosphere, and I love the unique restaurant décor. The eclectic touches throughout the restaurant create a unique dining experience. Note the Chuy’s touches around you like the hubcaps hanging shiny and bright from the ceiling. You’ll enjoy the view.
The attentive servers promptly deliver the free chips and salsa and get your drinks to you in a blink. The staff is always engaging, attentive, and friendly with a smile even during those crazy-busy times. They make your experience there even more enjoyable.
For an appetizer, order the queso, a blend of melted cheese, green chile and ranchero sauces, and add the ground beef, guacamole & Pico de Gallo. It’s truly divine. And that creamy jalapeno dip, y’all! It’s addictive and the best. I have found nothing comparable to their creamy jalapeno dip anywhere else. But be careful not to fill up on their chips and dip and save room for their mouth-watering entrees.
One of my favorite dishes is the deluxe chicken enchilada. Hand-rolled to order with homemade corn tortillas, it’s served piping hot, filled with tender, roasted chicken, and buried in a deluxe tomatillo sauce that is to die for. Made from scratch each day, the deluxe tomatillo sauce is blended with sour cream, fresh herbs, cilantro, and spices. It’s full of creamy and tangy goodness! I have not found another comparable tomatillo sauce anywhere. It’s tangy, creamy, and truly the best around. A bed of Mexican rice and smokey refried beans surround the plate, complimenting the delicious enchiladas.
If you are looking for the absolute best Tex-Mex in the area with a unique and eclectic atmosphere that offers mouth-watering entrees and exceptional customer service, stop by and enjoy a meal at Chuy’s. You...

I ordered directly through Chuy's website for delivery. They did not pack one of my items. I reached out to the store for a refund on that single item since I ordered it directly from Chuy's website The Chuy's store advised to speak to DoorDash for resolution because they partner with DoorDash for the deliveries. As I was on the phone with DoorDash - they put me on hold and called Chuy's. They spoke to the manager for approval of the refund. The DoorDash rep then said I had to call the Chuy's store back to get the refund because I ordered directly from Chuy's website. I let them know I already spoke with Chuy's and DoorDash explained the Chuy's store has all necessary info and approval to proceed on their end.
I called back and spoke to the manager at Chuy's. He was so rude and refused to look into my order. He insisted I needed to call DoorDash even though I explained to him multiple times that I already spoke with them. He was speaking over me to the point I said "Sir please listen to me" to try to explain once again that I needed the store to assist. I asked if he can please call DoorDash and he said no he didn't have a phone number even though I explained one of the other employees I spoke with had given me the phone number in the first place. I asked if I could speak with the other person who had helped me before and he said no for a while then said okay yeah I can let you talk to someone in the to-go section if you want. He then put me on hold and came back on to argue again and finally say he will not help me and I need to call DoorDash again.
I called DoorDash back and the representative called Chuy's. The manager also argued with the DoorDash representative saying the store cannot assist.
Apparently the Chuy's manager figured something out because after receiving an email with a partial refund the manager called back and asked if "I got everything squared away" and proceeded to tell me this happened because I told him I ordered through DoorDash. I explained to him again that I did not tell him I ordered from DoorDash and that I specifically said I ordered from Chuy's website multiple times.

Read more23 Dec 2024 I know this is long, but this restaurant deserves every bit of this attention and then some. We stopped at Chuy's in Roundrock ,Tx for a late lunch. Surprisingly, we did not have to wait long for a table. We were seated within 5 minutes right next to the wait staff's service area. In the very brief wait for our food, I observed the hustle, bustle of the very busy staff. Everyone seemed to work together so effortlessly. I was totally amazed at the team work exhibited. I saw when one waitress needed help with the folding tray holder- she asked another team member for help in passing as she balanced a huge tray of food she was about to serve. The team member quickly grabbed the folding table and followed her to her table. Then I watched 2 employees, one with a purse & the other with a backpack "clock out" at a terminal in the service area. (If you're still reading this, I'm surprised.) I was shocked to see a few members in the immediate area quickly hug the departing employees saying, "See you tomorrow!" Another act of kindness towards a team member was when an an employee about 4'9" - 5' was struggling to reach a binder on a high shelf. A fellow team member saw her little dilemma while passing by & stopped to retrieve the binder and handed it to her. Not a single employee appeared to be having a bad day. All of them were jolly and ready to serve each other & customers. I asked our wonderful waiter, Gus to please call his manager. He said, "Sure!" He immediately went to summon his manager. I spoke with Andy at length about most of my many wonderful observations. We drive about 45 miles to eat at this particular Chuy's. We have tried many and we have a Chuy's in our hometown, but it just doesn't have the same spirit. If you're in the area......
