I donāt normally write reviews, but this is the second time itās been a pretty sub-par experience so here we go.
The last time I was in (about a month ago) there were two employees working, one taking orders but hanging out in the back cleaning equipment, and the other putting together orders at a painfully slow speedā¦there were only two other customers there, seated on the middle of the only four chairs, so you couldnāt sit anywhere without being RIGHT next to them while you waited on the female employee to make two smoothies for 20min⦠this was on a Saturdayā¦around 4pm in the afternoonā¦.maybe schedule more labor during the ramp up to dinner time? Especially on the weekends? Or perhaps train your staff to move with some sense of purpose?
Just now, I popped in to grab three pre-bottled juices, I was the only person in the store apart from the employee who was loitering near the fridge case until I walked in, then they went in the back while I was spending 5min picking the juices I wanted to grab. Once I made my selection and walked to the register, she reappeared, masked (who does that any more? š¤¦š»āāļø) and just began typing in the items Iād ordered. I said āhowās it going?ā Trying to encourage commonly practiced dialogue thatās encouraged between sales associates and customersā¦and got a āgoodā and then a āis that all?ā I could tell She wasnāt interested in human interaction today. So I said āah yeah thatāll be itā, she then just turned away from the register to go do something else as I tapped āno tipā (comical thatās even asked for self serve and prior to receiving paid for products these days) signed for my purchase and opted for no receipts. I then said āthanks have a good one!ā And just turned to leaveā¦no response from the employee who was now facing the wall doing what looked perhaps like washing utensilsā¦.
I get it guys, people have off days, Iāve worked in the food industry (Starbucks, Pizza Hut, even a target food court once) so Iāve had my fair share of less than chipper energy levels on my end when doing my jobā¦but to be quiet honestā¦if Iām paying $10+ for 12oz of juice x 3, I expect somewhat of at least a welcoming environment or employees who project a professional demeanor while representing the establishment.
I really do want to like this placeā¦but itās becoming more obvious why itās constantly empty, the prices are high for what you get, and the employees absolutely make you feel like their priority is just to get you out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen here a couple of times to say i enjoy the food and the options available, but today was different in many ways . walked in as usual to grab an aƧaĆ bowl and an employee and the co-owner (Dale) got into an intense argument over issues theyāve had amongst each other . started with the employee using a new carton of milk when their was already one out and the co-owner had gotten on to him about it then the dude poured it into the blender cup without measuring it and was also scolded for it & was told he would take money of the kids check for doing such a thing which truly upset the young man and led him to argue the fact and ultimately lead him to be told to clock out & leave over that ! they proceed to argue in front of me and two other employees who were coming from the back to step in and prepare my meal and things turned ugly when the co-owner felt threatened by the employees remark of āknocking him outā so he proceeds to grab a multi purpose tool and switched it to the blade side to i guess scare the kid out of the business . the kid claimed he was treated poorly and that the co- owner has a history of treating others in the establishment with little to no respect . All of this happening while i was still standing there just waiting for my bowl to be made which the two kind ladies were there to help! very unprofessional of both the employee and the co-owner to handle the situation that way and iām very disappointed. i really did enjoy the aƧaĆ bowls but am unsure of returning seeing how people are treated and how business is handled . they need a better role model and leader who is willing to be more patient and kind when it comes to leading the business in the right path. not only for the business itself but for the hard working individuals keeping it up float .
in regards to your reply you mustāve not seen when when he grabbed the tool and went towards the door when the employee came back or heard when he scared him off and told me that he ā cleans them up niceā bragging about what he does to such individuals. please do not discredit stuff like that to make the...

Was runny almond milk and blueberryās- couldnāt taste banana, no avocado see, couldnāt taste honey i walked back in store to have remade correctly and manager talks down to me like a kid ! Naming ingredients as nade , was t gunna have it just asked gor a tefund snd he stills try to tell me how hes right and i font know what i am saying - OMG! NEVER GOT TEFUND and switched my smoothie allegiance-to the new and WONDERFUL Juiceland that just opened across the freeway. I LOVE JUICELAND!!!
May 16th, your reply only substantiates my complaint and poor service received. I picked up my smoothies i ordered in tge oast and i know the color and substance of each of them, again you continue to argue with me and try to tell me( the customer) is wrong. omg- golden rule #1 broken You talked fown to me when i requested a new smothie as ai was a kid, I am an adult and deserve to he treated llke one You state I was cursing, when you continued to demean my intelligence and request, I stated i dont want to hear your chit, if you would have stopped giving me chit i wouldnt have had to state anything4. I waited patiently fir my refund request while you tried to figure out your register (. here in your reply you DISGUSTINGLY LIE, and state yiu were going to guve me cash!). unheard of in any business structure when a card is used as well. When you couldnt figure it out i left assuming any respectable business would refund my charge WHICH YOU DID NOT REFUND
You are a horrible businessman and a disgraceful manager. I am so happy Juiceland opened across the freeway and i will never gave to experience this again.
BTW - i referred a friend there for acai bowls and he stated it was the worst ever
