I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this location which I frequently visit. Today, I ordered my usual "love it" size with a scoop of coffee ice cream and a scoop of cotton candy mixed with brownie. To my shock, the staff member insisted on mixing both ice creams together, claiming it was “manager's policy” to save time—even though I was the only customer in line.
This is unacceptable. I have always enjoyed my ice cream served my way, and being told I couldn't have my order prepared according to my preference is not only frustrating but also poor customer service. When I asked for a moment to decide, the employee rudely walked away to the other room, leaving me feeling dismissed and unwelcome. It’s clear that staff training is lacking, and customers should not be forced to accept a subpar experience. I hope the management will look in to this matter and will not let the employees compromise customers experience especially when being charged 7$ for 2 scoops of ice cream. Very disappointed.
Update:- I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience regarding an issue I had with my ice cream order. After expressing my concerns, I was pleasantly surprised when Omar, the manager, reached out to me. His professionalism and genuine care for customer satisfaction truly stood out.
Omar took the time to listen to my feedback and resolved the situation promptly. It’s rare to encounter such dedication, and it made all the difference in my experience. I appreciate the effort put into ensuring customers are happy. Thank you, Omar, for turning a potentially negative experience into a positive one! I’ll definitely...
Read moreI came to Cold Stone for a scoop of ice cream. I left with a renewed faith in humanity, a rekindled sense of wonder, and a deeper understanding of the cosmos—all thanks to one man: Damien.
The moment I walked in, the temperature of the room shifted—not because of the ice cream, but because Damien’s radiant aura subtly altered the laws of thermodynamics. He greeted me with a smile so warm and genuine, I’m 89% sure a nearby tulip bloomed out of season.
I ordered something simple. Damien said, “Trust me.” Those two words carried the gravity of a thousand prophets. He didn’t just scoop ice cream—he sculpted it. Michelangelo once said, “I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” Damien saw the angel in the frozen slab and freed it with a mix-in medley so poetic it made Keats weep from the afterlife.
His hands? A blur of divine motion. Chocolate chips and cookie dough danced like ballerinas under his command. The peanut butter? Whispered into the perfect swirl. I swear, I saw a hawk land on the Cold Stone sign and bow in reverence.
Halfway through eating, a single tear rolled down my cheek. It wasn’t sadness. It wasn’t joy. It was awe. Pure, unfiltered awe. I have tasted heaven, and it’s cookies and cream hand-crafted by Damien, the Ice Cream Alchemist.
Give this man a Nobel Prize. Give him a Pulitzer, a Grammy, a key to the city. Rename the store Damien’s Divine Creamery. Whatever you do, just go—experience his artistry before the UN names him a World Heritage Site and lines get too long.
Damien, thank you. I came in lactose intolerant. I left spiritually healed. 5 stars is insufficient, he deserves a...

From the moment I entered Cold Stone Creamery in Round Rock, I felt a sense of ease and warmth. The young man who assisted me was professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful in crafting a custom creation—not just an ice cream shake, but an experience that felt personal and thoughtfully made.
I ordered a Chocolate Silk Peanut Butter Shake, and he approached it with care and precision, ensuring it was made to perfection. His attentiveness and willingness to collaborate on the perfect blend made the visit truly enjoyable.
In a world where many simply go through the motions, it’s rare to encounter someone who engages fully in their work. His approach reflected a harmonious and personable connection, showing that even the smallest acts—when done with care—can leave a lasting impression.
To the team at Cold Stone Creamery, thank you for this moment of indulgence, for honoring the craft of great service, and for reminding me that genuine effort and kindness always stand out.
