This is was the first and last time I ever go to this Starbucks location. This place is unprofessional and not well-managed. As I walked in I realized there was a rush, which is understandable. However, there was one trainee at the register, one person making all orders, and someone who deemed labeling boxes more important than helping with the line. After waiting 10 minutes to place my order, it took more than 10 minutes to receive my full order. My drink was given to me immediately, yet my pastry hadn’t even been warmed up 10 minutes after. I approached the very overwhelmed barista, and politely asked if she had my pastry to which she replied “I am so sorry I have so many online orders, I will get to it soon”. She proceeded to make the drinks for the 3 people behind me, and continue the online orders. I quickly realized that there were people before me with the same issue. After basically finishing my drink, I no longer needed the pastry so I got back in line to get a refund. I grabbed the guy who wasn’t doing anything and asked him to return my item. He proceeds to take the receipt, without saying a word the entire interaction, and walks away when he was finished. I had to reach over the counter for my receipt because he didn’t have the customer service to do so. My issue with this experience is that 1) If a store in understaffed (which in this day & age- everyone is) then orders should either be stopped, or orders should be FULLY made for each customer while having the rest of the line wait their turn. 2) Why is there an employee/TL not backing up their coworkers? 3)Not schedule a trainee by themselves to handle the registers. This was a very frustrating and ridiculous Starbucks experience and I encourage you all to visit a more organized and...
Read moreAbsolutely love coming to this location! Only writing a review due to an old hag Karen who may post an inaccurate review of this location. I was enjoying my cup of coffee and pastry while waiting on my dog while he was at the groomers. I have never had an issue at this location with staff or my drinks the handful of times I’ve been there. The last few days have been raining nonstop and today it was raining a bit more/rough. The building itself must have some leaking problems but staff did an amazing job preventing the leaks to spread by placing towels and placing the “Wet Floor” signs. Kudos to them! However, there was one lady who as soon as she walked in the door was complaining right from the get go. Complaining about the leaks and how it’s an issue etc. While waiting for her drink, she was literally inspecting the place for any crumb in every corner. She stopped a girl mid sweep and told her to get this spot. The worker kindly replied and told her that is a mark on the floor that can’t be removed. She was given her drink, took a little sip and complained about her hot drink being “luke warm” and asked for the worker to place her finger in the cup. Oh brother!!! They made her a new drink and then asked for a refund. Whoever the manager was on the shift today, handled this situation well. I completely feel terrible for staff who put up with snooty people like this lady. I honestly thought she was the store manager, but she was not. 😊 It did seem she wanted to intimidate staff by saying she knew the store manager and was going to complain to them. But long story short, if you see a review from someone today saying this place is filthy, staff is rude and/or drink was not made correctly, do not...
Read more2 stars for the drink itself. But I am writing the review because of how I was treated during my experience here. I literally just moved to RR last week and am exploring and wanted to start my afternoon with a Starbucks drink that my old store use to make for me al the time-they knew me by name because I was always there.
This time at this new store, I don’t get the cold foam on either one of my drinks that I ordered (you have to pay extra for cold foam FYI.). Not only did I get attitude from the barista about that, she was sarcastic and rude about remaking the drink. I didn’t want her to remake the drink. I literally said “you can poor it in a venti cup that way there’s more room if that’s easier.” In MY customer service voice, because I too, work in customer service.
She sighed and then continued to make other people’s drinks.. which was fine. But then when I go to look over at the drinks she’s remaking that I didn’t ask her to, they’re still in a grande cup, but with more cold foam. So I ask again politely “if you want you can put it in the venti cup.” At which she responds rudely “why? Is this not good enough?” I was absolutely shocked. I just said “no it’s fine I just want to make things easier for you” She shoved the new drinks in my hands at the counter and when I said thank you she didn’t respond.
I cried when I got back to the car because I was genuinely trying to make her job easier and she responded with hostility.
I didn’t get her name. But she was the pale girl with red/orange curls working in 12/26/2020 at 1:50pm.
Nice welcome to...
