I’m so glad this place is in round rock, and yet I’m not! It’s a half Italian half Mexican restaurant! With easily the best quality for the longest period of time I’ve ever seen! I’ve been going here for at least twenty years. Every dish is absolutely delicious and always the same every time! The lasagna was the first thing I ever tried my brother-in-law and I stopped in and had it for lunch. We immediately brought our wives back that night for dinner and we probably had lasagna at least six or eight times that first month! My wife now is addicted to the Marias enchiladas which are incredibly delicious. Probably the best Molay sauce in Mexico I mean Texas or maybe both! I’m actually quite surprised that this place is not packed every minute of their open hours.!
I’m just so glad they’ve been able to stay in business as long as they have because their food quality is really remarkable compared to every restaurant in the area. All of their pasta dishes all of their Italian food is outstanding. The Mexican food is delicious but as with everybody and their individual taste, I’m sure there will be the naysayers . All I can say is they’re wrong! If you have not tried this restaurant, I would give it at least one shot! And if you get the lasagna and don’t like it, I’ll buy! Oh yeah, the Mexican...
Read moreWhat a disappointment.! We chose this place because of the reviews. I don't get it! Being vegetarian i didn't have many options so ordered the pasta parmigiana. It was so oily that 6 hours later i can still feel the oil in my throat. The pasta was just regular store bought, and the eggplant in addition to being super oily had this thick layer of cheese on it and was so chewy that it felt like i was chewing gum! The sauce was ok but i honestly felt like a jar of marinara sauce from the store would've been just as good. I really felt like I could've made this dish way better at home in 5 minutes. I asked if i could have just a few mushrooms added for protein but they wanted to charge me an extra $4.50 for that. What a joke! I felt nauseated for about an hour after with stomach pains. Horrible horrible! My husband ordered a beef burrito and he was just as put off. He said the beef tasted like it was off and the sauce was terrible. On top of all this the waitress was super rude and cold and when she asked how everything was i just gave her a face like 'i really don't like it but don't want to be rude' and said..."it's okaaay....but..." she said "ok" and left. Wow wow wow. Never going...
Read moreWe went there on March 8, 2025. It’s been over fifteen years since I last went here. I mentioned to my girlfriend that I thought the food was good. Upon walking in we were met by a server that asked how many and follow her to our table. A male server shows up and immediately asked us what we were drinking. I asked him how his day was and he said fine and walked away but no greetings or welcome. I ordered the Lasagna, my girlfriend ordered the three tacos. Every item on our plates seemed to have a cream base consistency. The rice and refried beans had absolutely no flavor. The calamari was however tasty. We were first served chips and salsa. Upon tasting it we thought the salsa had a peculiar after taste. As it turned out we were sick for two days after. I can only surmise that something in the salsa was rancid. Every staff member was not friendly nor welcoming. After we ate, I elected to have a desert but our server never asked and quickly said, I’ll bring your check. We both noticed that no one smiled, strictly business. We will never return. This place needs a customer service tune up and...
