Y'all know I've torn the backside out of many locations like a Pit Bull on a steak in a back pocket. Now, I have no idea how this location got its previous rating. I CAN relate my experience for your consideration...
I went in on a busy Saturday morning, ordered, got my items and sat down. I was surprised by the attentive service and cleanliness of this location, especially during a rush.
I did notice a few drink caps out of order in the drink area. No sooner had I noticed than a well-dressed man entered the store, walked up, removed the drink caps, and cleaned the drink area. I thought, "He must be a manager."
He went directly from the drink area to behind the register and asked the next customer, "May I help you?" as if to personally confirm my exceptional powers of observation.
Of course, this challenged me to check the restroom, the men's anyway. Immaculate!
So, I finished my victuals intending to move on without comment but, as I turned toward the door, the gentleman was sitting with a lady in deep conversation. Well, you know me, I had to bus' on up in there and rudely interrupt.
"Excuse me, Sir, are you the manager?" "No." "May I speak with the manager?" "She's the manager..." he said outting me for negative gender casting. But, hey, I'm old, I didn't have a clue! I ain't runnin'. I own it.
So, humbly, sheepishly, and with deep respect, I relayed to the manager how impressed I was by the unrehearsed and immediate team player actions of her subordinate.
She was very happy that I had noticed the cleanliness, great service, and teamwork of their location. Then, politely and gently she pointed out that the gentleman wasn't actually a subordinate as she said, "He's the AREA MANAGER."
So, I want to thank Alexandra, the Manager, and Jossian, the Area Manager, for their kindness and patience with this mannerless, yet appreciative, senior citizen.
HEY, CORPORATE! These two need raises and promotions IMMEDIATELY!!!
HEY CUSTOMERS! Get on over there to 35 and Old Settler's and fact check me. I dare ya!
Where's my likes and follows...
Read moreI have been moving to the area for the last week so have eaten fast meals out ALOT during this time. My favorite meal is a fish filet, fries and a drink. McDonald's fries are the best. No one can compete! Imagine my surprise tonite when I decided to add a bit of ketchup to my filet. The cheese that is advertised on the sandwich is only a tease! The cheese slice is so tiny that it is only there to make you THINK YOU GOT WHAT YOU PAID FOR!!!! 1/3 of a slice hangs off the bun to make you think it's so big that it's bigger than the whole sandwich! Actually when I took it apart, that 1/3 of a slice IS ALL THERE IS ON THE WHOLE SANDWICH!!! That means with 1 slice of cheese they build 3 fish fillets and charge you for cheese on each one and make a fortune on cheating all 3 buyers times 100s in a day thousands every month!! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE RIP OFF!! I certainly hope management sees this review at this location and somehow will explain to loyal customers like me why they do this. False advertising is illegal and has given me some serious acid reflux over this discovery of a SCAM. COME ON MCDONALDS...YOU NOT ONLY OWE ME AND OTHERS CUSTOMERS AN APOLOGY BUT YOU ALSO NEED TO MAKE UP FOR RIPPING ME OFF FOR AT LEAST A DOZEN FISH FILETS RECENTLY. RESPOND HERE AND MAKE IT PUBLIC PLEASE. I HAVE LOVED McDonald's food for 50 years. Please don't ruin it over saving money on a single slice of cheese. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to an unfortunate situation. Restore my faith in your good name and reputation. Sincerely, ...
Read moreLately when I visit this particular location, my experiences have NOT been good and this morning was NO different. As you can see on the photo I posted I did a repeat order from last week that consisted of 2 breakfast burritos and a hash brown. Not only did the drive-thru attendant have a hard time hearing me but she then went completely quiet as I sat there and waited for a response!(and I wasn't rude or yelling or anything) I then asked "did you get that?"....I heard nothing so I proceeded forward as I was in a rush not to be late for work.(Which I did end up being a few minutes late!) But anyway, imagine my surprise when I get to the window and was told the wrong order. But after I corrected them I was given a bag with 2 breakfast burritos and that's it! Sorry to go on but I said all that to say this, I feel as tho the various fast-food places in Round Rock can use a few pointers from In-N-Out Burger! They're polite, they're attentive and they repeat your order back to you once at the drive-thru, once at the first window and again at the second window to ensure that they give you all the contents that are supposed to be in the bag! McDonald's, you need to do better if you want patrons to continue to patronize your business! Thanks...
