I hope the owner isn't as greedy with his employees as he is his customers.
I placed a $40 order here on Friday afternoon to bring to my father who was in the St. David's Medical Center down the street. The order was processed online and confirmed. I arrive to the location and my order was not in their online system. The owner informs me that "this happens on the time with their online system" and that "orders don't always go through".
No worries, I show the owner my confirmation as well as my bank statement showing the posted transaction. He insists that my order must have been sent to another Niki's location despite what the confirmation showed, and refused to help me with my order unless I bought the order again.
I called the other two locations in front of the owner to confirm that my order was not currently in their queue, which it wasn't.
The owner did not care and said that he couldn't make me my order unless it showed up in his system, as if the Clover payment software was physically putting the pizzas in the oven.
I asked him what I was supposed to do. I have a posted transaction on my bank statement, a confirmation email that my order had been placed, and an owner who refused to make my two pizzas. He shrugged his shoulders and refused to talk to me further as I sat there empty handed.
I told him "why am I being held financially responsible for an error with your online software. One that you admitted to giving you issues in the past?" One of the employees said that they had issues with it just the day prior. The owner said "I didn't say we have issues with the online software. We've only had one issue." "Well is it possible that this is your second issue?" "No".
The lady behind me overheard this conversation and asked the owner if she could purchase my order for me on top of her order. I told her that wasn't necessary, but she insisted due to the fact that this pizza was for my father in the hospital. I offered her $40 in cash to compensate but she refused. The owner silently watched this exchange as he swiped her credit card with no empathy for the mistake of his point of sale system.
The transaction was never refunded on my bank statement. The owner was paid twice for this order despite easily being able to just make the order. I'm currently disputing the charge with my bank. The owner prioritizes his end of day profits over the mistakes of his own point of sale software which he admitted "frequently has issues". The owner puts the risk of his online ordering software at the expense of his customers.
Pizza was not worth the hassle. I hope the owner isn't as greedy with his employees as he is...
Read moreAs I first stepped into Niki's Pizza, I seemed to enter at a busier time than the Google predictions would have you believe. There was a large sports team that had likely finished a recent game and were celebrating. The place was alive with activity, smiles, and friendly faces. A bit overwhelming for myself, however.
As I got through the line in a relatively short amount of time, a local patron remarked on my situation and assured me the flavor was worth the wait. I placed my order for a small pepperoni, and took my seat amongst the commotion as I waited for it to be made. The scenery was that of an authentic Italian pizzeria. Wallpaper of red brick walls, read painted ceiling tiles with black highlights. There was a painting of a map of Itally, the staff all spoke Italian, it was a good look and atmosphere. Customers were greeted with familiarity, a sign of a true family ran business. Some were recognized even by their online order alone, as they picked it up.
I made these mental notes in about the 15 or so minutes it took for my pizza to be ready, the five online orders ahead of me completing in that 15 min span. Not a knock against Niki's Pizza per say, just a mark of the times. As my pizza was delivered, the gentleman looked me in the eye and thanked me with a respectful tone, and slight apologetic expression. After tasting his fine pizza, I would have liked to go back and assure him, that the wait was worth it.
It was fresh out of the oven, as it should be. New York style, with thin yet firm crust. It was slightly greasy, but not enough to feel it on your fingers as you ate. None of it bled through the crust. Now, for the best part, the taste. The cheese was high quality, rich flavor, and melted to a perfect consistency. The crust was thin and crunchy, yet airy. A satisfying consistency.
If you want to feel at home, or like you're part of the family, with good food and good times. Niki's Pizza...
Read moreI used to work here personally from 2012-2014 and I gotta say yeah it's made fresh, well fresh to frozen that is. However making food is not the only thing that makes a business. Its treating your customers/employees with respect as well and throughout those years I received non of it. As well as an illegal paycheck every 2 weeks so they can illegally avoid taxes/insurance. $260 check every time with no hours or times on the checks ,and the rest in cash. I have already turned them in for fraud in the 3rd degree. Feel free to eat here ,but just remember whom your buying from. Mitat and Nejah Bejarmi are their names. Enjoy 🤫😉. Hell ,he even made his wife work with us while she was pregnant? Wow ,just wow. Feel bad for that little guy. Oh, and the best part is, if you show up 1st while opening ,thinking it's going to be the best. Don't.... They're selling you their goods they didn't sell last night 1st for the same price(Illegal) .It's called quality and customer satisfaction. 👌 By the way fellows, you still owe me 120$ from my last check. Enjoy the fake customer calls from...
