Surfing Crab Round Rock — Restaurant in Round Rock

Finally have a Surfing Crab in RR! I highly recommend you get there as fast as you can before everyone finds out how good the food is. We no longer have to make a trip to Corpus to get a seafood boil fix. This is my families favorite seafood spot. We ordered a seafood boil with crab legs, shrimp and calamari. I'm not big on seafood so my go to is the fried rice. We also ordered the fried fish and shrimp basket. Our server was also the best, very attentive. We never had an empty drink and always made sure we had what we needed and wanted. Didn't rush us in any way. Food was so good I forgot to get pictures of everything. Cajun Fries were EXTREMELY GREASY with no seasoning . 👎

Fried catfish & oyster poboy EXTREMELY 👎 GREASY.

Started feeling a little sick after so I only ate half the Poboy and half the fries. 🤢

The saving grace was the boil. . I got too excited to come here to be let down.

Being from Beaumont, my wife and I were skeptical at first since places far away from far east and the Louisiana areas tend to have bland, under seasoned food. THIS PLACE SEASONED WELL! The food was delicious, the price was ideal and overall our waiter Scott made us feel welcome. He is quite humorous! We are in town for only 1 night and I am glad we gave this place a try!
