Hello everyone, Recently I went to the taco cabana at IH35 in Round Rock where I usually go to get breakfast tacos. Usually at this time I am greeted at the ordering Box with good morning may I take your order which is fantastic this morning I was greeted with yeah go ahead Now I was taken aback for a little bit by this abrupt and disrespectful greeting. to which I responded with yeah,OK go ahead? I then ordered my food, after ordering my food proceeded to pull up to the order pick up window. I asked the lady taking the payments if I could speak to the manager and much to my chagrin the manager who identified himself as Jordan was the one who disrespectfully geeted a customer and I don't believe I would have been the 1st. I asked the manager Jordan if he thought his greeting to me respectful and appropriate to which Jordan responded with "I've heard worse"! Wow! Notice no apology for the disrespect no I'm having a bad day I'm a little off my game my apologies just "I've heard worse". Come on Taco Cabana is this really who you have as a manager for your store. This is an example you want for the others? Your food could be like a hundreds other taco places but the one thing that can actually make a difference is Good Customer Service. I have been in customer service now for over 20 years, Customer service can be very challenging at times, but one of the easiest and most important part of customer service is "The GREETING " it can and often does make...
Read moreAvoid this store. There's a couple nearby; go there instead. My wife ordered 4 chicken fajita tacos, 2 steak fajita tacos, guacamole, tortillas, and queso.
When she got to the window, she asked the attendant to bag 2 of the chicken tacos, with the guacamole, in a separate bag. This, apparently, was too much for the employee to handle.
The girl gave her an irritated look, closed the window, and walked away. The next person at the window identified herself as "shift manager", but would not give her name.
Irritated, she asked my wife, "What did you want?". My wife replied with her request. The girl said, "I'm not going to do that. I'll give you bags, and you can do it yourself".
My wife replied she would be driving, and made the request again. The "manager" got irate and said, "I'll leave it on the street, and you can pick it up from there!", then laughed at my wife.
My wife told the "manager" she was being rude and unprofessional. The response was, "I'm denying you service, I have that right!" She refused my wife the food, returned the money to my wife's Visa, gave her the receipt, and shut the window.
My wife drove to the Taco Cabana store in Pflugerville, Tx , placed her order, gave the same request, paid for and received her food, and went home.
your store at the Round Rock location has given poor service the last three times we visited - this last one being far worse than the others.
We will not be back to that...
Read moreMost of the food was fine, however I only received guacamole and sour cream for 1 of the 2 quesadillas I ordered plus I had asked for an extra sour cream and did not get it either, despite her repeating my order very clearly in the drive thru to me. I also did not receive ANY of the BBQ sauce for the 3 brisket tacos I ordered even though it was also specified I wanted it during ordering. The loaded queso was also kinda cold and didn't really contain much of anything in it and it's always been great in the past. It just feels like the workers didn't want to be there tonight. However, the woman who took my order and that I interacted with at the window was very sweet. She just didn't check to ensure my order was complete. I guess you can't expect too much at a fast food place at 1:30 in the morning, though. The quesadillas seemed fine, my husband did not complain which is unusual, so take that as a plus! The brisket tacos were still very warm when I got home, too. Just one of those fluke nights I guess. Generally I'm a happy customer there though and I'm not exactly upset about the mishap tonight. It just happens that Google gave me a prompt to do a review tonight, so I'm basing my review off this most recent visit. Hopefully this is just an off night for staff and they'll be great as they usually are going forward. Nevertheless, I'll certainly return to this spot if I have another late night Taco...
