What a mess tonight. They were very busy tonight and I took that into consideration during my visit. I tried to be very pleasant and soft-spoken. The two customers in front of me were very upset about their sandwiches and how they were made in the whole process that happened with ordering in and making them. I did not want to be that person who mistreated an employee when they're stressed out. I ordered one sandwich combo with an additional bottle drink. The guy assign to the slicer expressed his frustration verbally multiple times about how busy they were and he couldn't be the only one doing anything. He rolled his eyes and used profanity at the counter while he was serving me. I guess someone asked him to go get some lettuce and he came back with the lettuce and slammed it down on the counter. That's very off-putting for a customer to see and hear. The girl who was putting the vegetables and stuff on this sandwich had zero clue as to what was going on. She apparently gave my sandwich to another customer. So the guy on the slicer had to make it again which made him super happy. She was having to ask the guy on the meat slicer what sandwich was what. I barely have any lettuce tomato onions on my sandwich and very little meat and cheese as well. I paid my bill had to go back in line and wait for my vegetables to be placed on my sandwich came back to the cash register once that was done and was told that I didn't pay for my order even though I had already. I was not provided with a receipt so I can not proved that I had paid. I got a really nasty attitude about the whole thing from the gentleman that was wrapping the sandwiches and putting them in bags. I got my drink because I knew they had to cook chicken for my sandwich. Got back to the counter the guy that was fixing my sandwich had put the lettuce and tomato on my sandwich by the the grill. Before I could even ask about other veggies he wrap my sandwich up. I let the guy know that I wanted other veggies. The guy wasn't to happy about that since he wrap my sandwich up already. After he put the veggies on my sandwich he wrap my sandwich back up. He says to me" in the future if you want more veggies let the guy know who takes your order". I told the guy other Jersey Mikes, I've been to always ask if wanted more veggies and I've never seen any of the cooks put my lettuce and tomato by the grill or sometimes they ask If I wanted Mike's way. Read moreSat outside for 20 minutes waiting for my curbside pick up after checking in. I had to call. Only to find out entire staff not wearing masks preparing food while under county mandate. This stores employees don't care about it's customers and argues with them instead of making things right. Doesn't follow local government health regulations while county has no hospital beds.
So I returned to the store per manager request to find out employees still not wearing masks and now my 78 year old mother with diabetes tested positive for Covid this week at the hospital. I told the maskless employee that brought me my sandwich that she has Covid and I may be a carrier too, he smiled said ok and gave me a thumbs up as he laughed walking away.
