Our experience with the flight of shots brought this rating down to 2 stars when it could’ve been 5. I had asked Rosi for the prices depending on the shots and she told me a few $70 options, including Don Julio, plus a free extra shot for the birthday girl. I told her we’d think about it and let her know in a few. She comes back and I confirm once more that the Don Julio flight was $70. I said let’s do it.

We get our bill and the flight was $120. Additionally, the birthday girl did not get her free shot. Either it was a misunderstanding on her part and she thought the Don Julio 70 meant $70 on her tablet OR she played us, which I really think the latter, because I couldn’t have been more clear in my asks on both visits to our table. Everyone else in our party definitely heard and understood that it would be $70. Although it was a special treat with the lights and sparklers for the birthday girl, we wouldn’t have agreed to order that if it we knew it was $120. Went to this Mexican restaurant for a monthly date night. We decided to try something new and upon arrival we were immediately seated and a water carafe was given with two glasses along with chips and salsa. Very impressive but it ended right there. We were not seen for a waiter for orders for at least 25 minutes. Placed order and girlfriend received drink however mine was forgotten. Flagged waiter down to get tea. Order finally came out and we were both disappointed.at taste of food served. Very very bland. Flagged waiter down to request lime and salsa and was told no problem. Did we receive lime or salsa? Not unless one of us was willing to run to Holiday Market to purchase it. All in all a very disappointing experience!!! The waiter never once came to check on us or see if we needed anything. Seriously food was so bland it has little to zero taste. This experience seriously impacted a couples night out together. Ambience was perfect and very upbeat but service lacked and the blandness of this Mexican food left is still hungry when we left. BUYER BEWARE. We were in the bar last night and ordered $90 worth of drinks. When we asked to tab out, my husband was handed the handheld to settle up and Fernando said the tab was 133.00 verbally to me. My husband tipped 20% as we normally do. All day today I felt like we were taken advantage of so today I went back and took a picture of the drink menu and asked the bartender how much shots of Casadores was on the rocks and he said $10. I remembered exactly what we ordered because I was drinking NA beer. That is not the first time I came away from this place feeling like we were taken advantage of. About a year ago the waitress Rosa handed us a bill for $300 that was in part due to high end tequila that did not taste like high end but unfortunately we over indulged. If you go there keep your wits about you, keep track of what you order and ask for a printout of your bill so you can check it. We were had but it won't happen again.
