Rays ice cream is always impressive, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. They have all the classics like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, but they also offer unique and creative flavors like lavender honey, matcha , peppermint and salted caramel pretzel. There's something for everyone, and it's clear that they put a lot of thought and effort into their flavor creations.
this was my third visit and I decided to try the banana split with 9 scoops (yes!! With family) and it was fantastic.
The service is top-notch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations and let you sample flavors before making a decision. They genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, and it shows in their interactions with customers.
Overall, Ray’s is a must-visit for ice cream lovers. The combination of great flavors, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere makes it a top-notch ice cream shop. I highly recommend giving it a try – you won't be...
Read moreI didn't go in there to purchase ice cream. I wanted an orange soft drink, but Ray's had the Faygo regular Orange Pop in a sixteen-ounce bottle; and a diet Orange Pop in a twelve-ounce can. I'm usually averse to diet drinks, because they usually have synthetic sweeteners, similar to so-called sugar-free drinks. Very untasteful. I poured the Orange Pop in my 32-ounce canister with the raspberry--lime drink. It tasted alright, I guess. It wasn't a bad thing; however, I now know I won't be drinking any raspberry--lime drinks or any non-sugary drinks, for that matter. I do intend to return to Ray's Ice Cream just to try some of their flavors. I just wasn't in the mood right then. I hope...
Read moreGoing to Ray's today felt like going through a Time Warp. There were loads of people hanging out around the shop smiling, and laughing, and enjoying their ice cream with their SOs and families.
The wait wasn't long. People were just enjoying the weather, music, and atmosphere like back in pre-cell phone or Internet days.
The customer service was perfect. And the ice cream was so creamy, fresh, smooth, and delicious, butter pecan this time, that it tasted like they had just milked the cows this morning!
Right next door they are preparing to open a throwback bowling alley! It's the perfect theme for the entire block. With some roller skates and the right outfits, hair dos, and cars they could do a scene from Grease there.
I had the best time and looked around, while I sat on the bench eating my ice cream, thinking this is what a great summer in the USA is all about. It's a memory I'll keep...
