8/18/25- Love Hilary’s! It’s a true Family owned and operated breakfast, lunch and (dinner- on Thursdays and Fridays) local restaurant! You immediately have a warm welcome and you feel like you’re family! With a nostalgic vibe and a menu to please every palate! The food is fresh and absolutely delicious! Your only problem will be deciding what to order! My favorites are the house made pastrami on their house made rye bread ( beyond delicious) , their amazing patty melt, their NY style French Toast, eggs with creamy grits and the real NY style sesame buttered bagel, their coffee is amazing- just to name a few! Definitely leave room for their homemade desserts! Plus! Great news! They now serve Wine and Beer! The service is always 5 star! Warm, friendly and welcoming! The owner Mark, remembers every one’s name and their favorite dish! Visits with everyone making sure you are happy! The Hilary’s team are also friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu! Both my server’s were great, Ashley and the young girl (didn’t get her name-sorry) were great! The hostess was welcoming and friendly! It’s one of my favorites in Palm Beach County! It’s spotless and the decor will send you down memory lane! Even the music is on point! This visit I ordered the Patty Melt medium rare with extra cheese ! Truly the best Patty Melt in Palm Beach County! Juice, piping hot and perfectly cooked! It was magical! I also ordered a Pinot Grigio! Crisp and cold! Delicious! Yes! I highly recommend this Country style diner!
Update:6/20/24-My favorite diner style restaurant in Royal Palm Beach!! Always a warm welcome from the staff and owner! You feel like family! Coffee is offered and it’s the most delicious coffee in the world! Served in a classic brown mug! Mary made sure my coffee was always full and hot! Service with a smile! Dee was one of my servers and she didn’t miss a beat! Took my order and it came out quickly and perfectly cooked and piping hot! I love their bagels! I always order it “lightly toasted and buttered “ they actually prepare it perfectly! They butter it when the bagels are hot! So many places don’t! So many places give you ice cold butter to try and spread on a lukewarm bagel.. That’s just one of the reasons I love Hilary’s! They even provide real butter on the table! My eggs were delicious and also perfectly cooked! The food is always delicious! The menu has something for everyone! Huge portions! Their pastrami sandwich is my next favorite! Huge sandwich! Home cooking at it’s finest! The restaurant has a nostalgic vibe! Family friendly! It’s spotless and has plenty of parking right outside the door! I highly recommend! —————————————- 2023-A real New York Style coffee shop.. great friendly service and great oldies music.. and delicious food! 80% NY's enjoying a simple breakfast.. my new favorite breakfast joint! Read moreWe tried Hillary’s for the first time a couple of weeks ago and were so impressed with our breakfasts. My husband ordered corned beef hash and it was the real deal, homemade, and not out of a can. I had the 2 eggs and 2 pancakes special for $7.50! The portion was huge. The pancakes were fluffy and eggs were cooked perfectly and exactly how I ordered them. We were so happy with our meals we decided to take out son back the following weekend for a birthday breakfast. Not only did we receive the same great service and scrumptious breakfast, but the staff including Mrs. Hillary herself sang happy birthday over a slice of homemade strudel that was out of this world. They made our boy feel incredibly special and we are eternally grateful. This place is a real mom and pop restaurant, that overflows with nostalgia. Thank you Mrs....

Because I like specialized teas, I bring my own. I also bring my own Truvia, because restaurants do not carry it, due to the expense. All I need for my tea with my meal is hot water. They charge $1.70 for a cup of hot water, same price as coffee. However, cold water is free. They claim there are expenses in serving hot water. It has to be heated and the cup must be washed. They serve their cold water with ice, so they have an expense in freezing the ice. They also have an expense in washing the cup from the cold water, but again, cold water is free. I guess it costs $1.70 more to boil water than freeze it? They cannot justify the difference between hot and cold water besides saying that it's simply...
