I had the pleasure of being served by Joe during my visit to Denny’s, and I must say, he truly elevated my dining experience. From the moment I walked in, Joe greeted me with a warm, genuine smile and an enthusiastic welcome that made me feel right at home. It was clear from the start that he genuinely cared about his customers and their satisfaction.
Joe’s attention to detail was impeccable. He ensured that my table was spotless and perfectly set up before I even sat down. As he handed me the menu, he took the time to highlight some of the popular items and even made a few personal recommendations, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. It was evident that he knew the menu inside and out, and his passion for his job shone through in the way he spoke about the dishes.
Throughout my meal, Joe was attentive without being overbearing. He checked in just the right amount of times to ensure everything was to my liking, promptly refilling my drink and asking if I needed anything else. His timing was perfect, and I never felt rushed or ignored.
What truly set Joe apart was his genuine kindness and enthusiasm. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, he remained calm, collected, and cheerful. It was inspiring to see how he managed to juggle multiple tables while still making each customer feel special. He even took a moment to engage in a brief, friendly conversation, which added a personal touch to the experience.
When my food arrived, it was hot and perfectly prepared. Joe double-checked the order to ensure everything was correct, which I greatly appreciated. He made sure to accommodate my preferences and went above and beyond to ensure my meal was perfect.
As I was leaving, Joe thanked me for coming and wished me a wonderful day, leaving me with a positive impression that will undoubtedly bring me back to this Denny’s location.
Joe is a shining example of what excellent customer service looks like. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication to his role make him an invaluable asset to the Denny’s team. I highly recommend requesting Joe as your server if you visit... you won’t be...
Read moreMy son and I wanted to grab a meal before a 12:30pm movie. We dropped in about 10:30am. We were seated immediately but our drink order wasn't taken for nearly 15 minutes. In that time we looked over the menu and knew what we wanted. So when the waiter took our drink order I informed her we also wanted to order our food at that time. She took our order, a smoothie, a juice, a chicken strip meal and a burger meal. After about 20 mins we got our drinks. Then there seemed to be a shift change or maybe our waiter went on break because she completely disappeared. Another waiter brought over a bowl of old grapes for my son and said it was to hold him over and that it would be a bit of a wait. A couple and a family was seated near us and placed their orders well after us but started getting portions of their order before us. I figured maybe they ordered something simpler than a burger, chicken strips and fries. No biggie. But by the time I look up it's 11:56am. I call over a guy I assume is a manager and is the only staff within ear shot. I explain we'd been waiting and he comes back and says there was a mix up but our food is being made now and would be right out. The family and the couple have their full orders by this time. The original waiter resurfacing at the checkout desk but she has keys and a purse so I assume she is leaving. I never saw the second waiter again. By 12:07pm I had to make the call to just leave. So we head to the desk. The manager guy and the 1st waiter are chatting while he's ringing the couple who entered after us up. We get to the front and he says our food is now ready and if we sat back down it would be brought to us. I declined and asked to be rang up for what we consumed which was the juice and smoothie. He also charged us for the grapes we DID not order and DID not eat because the were old and rotting. It was a terrible experience. What's funny is that couple who came after us but was done before us, sat next to us in the movie theater. We had a good laugh about how we ended up eating movie theater food despite making it a point to go to Dennys to...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience here. Our waitress did her absolute best and did a very good job despite the rest of the crews terrible motivation to do anything right.. the hostess never greeted us, we waited 15 minutes just to find out ourselves that there was a list on the counter with a crayon to write your name down. Seems like there is no manager in sight because he was in the kitchen not paying attention to any of his workers!! Then we're finally seated (our waitress was serving the whole restaurant, again did a great job given the circumstances) and it took almost 15 minutes to take drinks, then my coffee cup had lipstick on it. Looked like it wasn't even washed. Took about 45 minutes to receive our food and when we did my girls hash browns were raw, toast was barely toasted and even soggy, her mothers prime rib was burnt and not edible by any means. Refills were almost nonexistent due to the lack of servers and people sharing job titles. Then we ask to speak to the manager and he came up with excuse after excuse as to why it's such a terrible experience, that there's all new people and it's a mess. While he's in the back cooking food (which clearly he is a terrible cook) and not watching what's going on up front. When we go to pay and leave, a take out customer came in demanding a refund because his steak was raw and sure enough it was almost 100% raw. The manager came out and just said "oh, I thought you wanted it rare" when it was clearly raw. This also happened when we first got there. Another take out customer was waiting for them to recook his food because it was raw in spots and burnt in others... our waitress was the only good thing about this visit, kudos to her for doing her best in such a terrible work environment. By the way there were 10 employees present including the manager. That size of a crew should be able to easily handle the traffic...
