The Golden Bear — Restaurant in Sacramento

Hi Golden Bear and Publick nice small indoor outdoor seating Bar and Grill fantastic food the Bartons are generally awesome cool cool hearted young ladies they make it fun there's a couple of young men attending sometimes as well as the cook out of the way bathrooms close by though plenty of other food and drink places nearby as well some shops have closed down I would give Golden Bear about four and a half Stars it's not always going to be totally perfect but it's nice place to meet people I have no way to make pictures or anything at this time. But though plenty of other food places even for the whole entire Sacramento region especially downtown Sacramento it's getting to be just pretty much for the wealthier citizens as well as the new coming visitors Sacramento is reaching a peak of overtaxing and making prices of things almost enhance Ubly unaffordable to anyone homes houses restaurants we're back in my day as a teen in a an adult young adult it was easy to go someplace to have coffee or a mid-day drink and a platter of food that was back in the 70s 80s and 90s prices which would be great places even for the whole entire Sacramento region especially downtown Sacramento its getting to be just pretty much for the Walther the Citizens is well as the new coming visitors coming over and making prices of things over in Hannibal under portable to anyone forgive me my phone is tending to recopy everything I said on its own Merit so forgive me if this is not sufficient enough of an understanding from me I apologize you can always come back later when I am more sufficient to take a picture of this place and make it more convenient with the street abilities and address cuz this time of the morning my brain is not in it so I have a wonderful Monday and a...

Harassing at Golden Bear. I've been coming to this place for some time and have good memories until recently and that's a disappointing. Towards the end of the night of 11/09 or 11/10. I was outside with my friends having a good time until golden bear security, Julio, rudely approached us from outside Pizzasaurus Rex. Accidentally I brought a half open bottle out, Julio that night a poured out the liquid and told me to," Leave his bar!" I'm outside the bar and in front of their neighbor Pizzasaurus Rex. I decline because his statement had no logic to it and I doubt he owns Golden Bear yet Julio pursued with methods of harassing and intimidating me (Getting in my face, tower over me, raising his voice). If that wasn't crude enough Julio also tried harassing/ intimidating the person I was with too. Julio had no right to act so crass and unkind to her! A man who yells and tries to intimidate a lady is beyond unprofessional. Everyone has a job to do but manners make the man, hence the word "man" in manners. Julio did not conduct himself as such which makes me think twice about giving golden bear my business. We reached out to management about this incident and it went under the rug. Golden Bear has always been an amazing place to go for good drinks, great food, and some of the best music/parties in sac (especially the back room on most weds/thurs/fri). They also have a great vegan and vegetarian menu, which they have had for a long time before it was offered at most places.

Aside from all of the above, their customer service is excellent. Last night I ordered the impossible burger. The bartender came over to me a minute later, very apologetically, and let me know the impossible burger was no longer available for the night (it was pretty late). He offered me the menu for another choice, but then said, "the chef is amazing, he can whip you up something similar if you like..." I said sure, and he asked if I liked mushrooms and then confirmed if I wanted it vegan or vegetarian. He went back in to the kitchen and gave me the thumbs up. A short time later, my meal came out and it was this shredded mushroom burger patty type thing with all the right toppings on a burger bun.
