Little Relics Inc. — Local services in Sacramento

So bummed about my experience with Little Relics. Overall first impression was flat out unorganized. I had called on Friday 9/9 at 11am to see when would be a good time to come in about a ring needing to be resized, the girl on the phone had told me they could do 12pm that day, i was excited at how fast they could get me in, but wasn’t able to rush into Sacramento in an hour we are 30mins away. So I had checked our schedule and was able to make it in the next day at 11-11:30am the girl said that would be fine and she would let Susan know. Before she got off the phone I asked if she needed my name or number or any other info before I let her go, she said no and that they would see me at 11am the next day.

I work a second job on the weekends so my time is tight, I made my family rush around all morning grabbing groceries and squeezing in a 30min drive to Sacramento to make this happen. I walk through the door and explain how I had called yesterday about a ring being resized. The girl who I spoke with on the phone was there in person and just said “oh yeah… I spoke with you… Susan isn’t here today…” not knowing exactly what that meant, but making assumptions I said “so no one here can look at the ring I was needing to be resized?” She responded with “no, I’m sorry”. She asked if I wanted to reschedule, and although I can appreciate the apology, at that point I had felt completely slighted, like I had just talked to her a little over 24 hours ago to confirm everything. What a complete waste of time!

Really wanted to love them, it looks like they have some great stuff. So...

Very displeased with the service here. I needed a ring resized. I paid a lot of money (almost $300), waited for 3 months and received unsavory customer service throughout. Since then, I researched jewelers and found one I trust, like and agree with, and just learned the ring I had resized to a 6 with Little Relics was resized to a 6.25. No wonder it was too big and I needed to resize it smaller. I will not be shopping at or using this place ever again and I do not recommend

This photo is from 7 months after I was proposed to with this ring; the name on your record is that of my fiancée. This photo is after 7 months of daily wear and was photographed when I took it in to be resized because it was too big for me. I presume I am typing with the Susan I have...

I had my favorite pair of earrings repaired on the spot after taking them to another jeweler who said they could not repair them. I am very happy to be able to wear them again.

The bigger job was to turn an antique ring with huge sentimental value into a necklace. I was very nervous about it but Susan sketched out a diagram and provided a demo of the way the hooks could be applied to the chain to blend in seamlessly. She also provided guidance on what kind of chain would and would not work for the job. I asked a lot of other questions and felt confident having her do the work. I just picked the piece up and could not be more pleased.

Rates were reasonable and service was wonderful. I have some other pieces in for repair and customization and know they will be done to my satisfaction.
