Of the 10 times I have been to this DD during morning commute, I have had a problem with my order at least 4 times. I always order a sandwich, toasted with butter. At least twice I only got a bagel - no sandwich. Another 2 or 3 times it was not toasted or did not have butter. I usually use the drive-thru, so I have to park and go inside to get my issues resolved. This last time I anticipated the problem and went inside to order. I opened the bag and sure enough, no butter. I might have skipped it, but it wasn't the first problem, AND I was charged $0.10 for the butter. The man at the register (the same one almost every time) flat out doesn't care. No apology. He takes the sandwich and hands it off telling someone what to do. One time I tried to explain my frustration and he simply said he could give me a number to call. Overall, the staff at this location is going through the motions. I have been to so many other locations and many of them have staff that are happy and very customer focused. Not all, but many. I never write reviews, especially poor ones, as I have worked in food service before and know how tough it can be. However, this was by far the rudest experience I have ever had. We sat at the speaker a while in silence, without being addressed or told we had to wait. Which is no big deal, but when we said "hello?" We were abruptly told we had to wait. A moment later we were asked our order, and the woman on the other end of the speaker cut us off and told us she did not have what we wanted mid sentence. We then proceeded to ask for an alternative to which she became frustrated and claimed she couldn't hear us. Then asked for us to pull forward, as we did I repeated my order and she had an attitude the entire time. She cut us off multiple times, and was extremely unprofessional. I asked for a chocolate caramel cold brew, she acted like she had never heard of it before, and proceeded to frustratedly ask me what I wanted in it. Read moreThis was the first time I’ve been to this store. And the last time. The lady working the drive through, let’s call her Darleen, had an attitude. Asked for a specialty drink, you know the ones you ask for by name and they just make it. This drink is one of those extra sweet drink with enough sugar to put a diabetic in a coma. Anyways, Darleen asks if we want cream and sugar or just black. Ok, no problem Darleen. We are having a failure to communicate. I explained the drink again and Darleen responded the same way; cream and sugar or just black. Puzzled, we explain that typically we just order it as is from other Dunkins. To which she explains that: “I don’t care what they do at other Dunkin’ Donuts. I’m asking if you want cream and sugar but I’m serving you coffee.” So we concede. Took our Darleen version of the order and chose not add the rest of my order. We drove to another Dunkin, and order what we wanted again.
