Every week or so, we walk downtown and end up at Spinsters for a refreshment. Today, it started bad: when my husband went in to order, he casually said how are you todayâŚshe replied, not goodâŚit went downhill from there. He ordered a beer and a Prosecco for me. The Prosecco was flat. Iâve had this experience before when the charge is low - it comes out bubbly but doesnât hold. So, it seemed fair to take it back. The server said it was bubbly when it came out (it would be, as I said, when the charge is low). To demonstrate she poured some in a new glass - yes, it was bubbly on the way out, then died, as it will when the charge is low. I asked for a non-alcohol drink - you donât carry any. I asked for a refund (at my age, if Iâve paid $8 for a drink, I expect it to be drinkable) but apparently your cash system doesnât allow refundsâŚ.finally, I just got a glass of water. But when I got back outside, my husband had had enough and went in to ask again for a refund. She said not possible and when my husband said we wouldnât be back, she said âgood, I donât want you back, I just wasted $16 of Proseccoâ! Well, since I didnât get a refund and she didnât pull a full demo glass, sheâs likely out $4 max⌠So, sadly, we wonât be back. And we wonât be picking up a few things in the store after we have a drink. And weâll let others know, the way people do. So, you might wanna correct t the no refund policy and you might want to check the charge on your...

We went back last night to try out the bar and we loved it! They offer beer, wine, cocktails in cans, pie, and snacks! Itâs eclectic and warm in the bar area, featuring a cute play area for kids and (a soon to be ready!) outdoor area with a new food truck!
