Copper Whisk — Restaurant in Saint Charles

Not sure what the issue is with this place as it looks nice, is spacious and has decent food. The last 3 visits to the diner have been VERY disappointing. I had to wait 10 minutes to get seated in a room with 50 tables that had people sitting at 6. Just doesn't make much sense it can be such a big diner with no capacity to serve anyone effieciently. After we got sat down we waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come over. She proceeded to take orders from 2 other groups that were sat after us. Finally after waiting 15 minutes our water showed up. The waitress was rude and bitchy something about how they were understaffed blah blah. It didn't end there we got brought the wrong food AND the wrong tickets hah. Come on, this place has so much potential but is just ran sooooooo poorly. I won't be back. Next time I will go over to the burger king in teh food court and get a better experience sadly enough....

We are staying at Ameristar in St. Charles. Just wanted coffee and a muffin at around 9 Am while watching the Cardinal game in London I looked up the menu and it showed the price for muffins and pasteries was $2.50. When i got down there i was charged $4.50 for the muffin and $10.00 for 2 coffees plus tax and tip. I had tp pay $17.10 for 2 coffees and one muffin. I mentioned to the superviser th hat online it said the muffin was $2.50 and her reply was that i most likely looked up the wrong location My response was "it is the same food here." I will never go to the Copper whisk again. We has pastries there on our last stay and they were wet and mushy. I can go down into the casino and get coffee for FREE!. I’m staying in the casino hotel for the 4th if July Holiday and this morning I had breakfast and a carry out to my daughter in the room. When she gets her food it is cold. So I return to the shop to warm it back up. I get the one guy at the counter who is sick I believe tell me once I leave they can’t warm my food up. That fine, so I asked for manager who come out and don’t even talk to me even though I asked for her and is very rude to me. She never talks to me just to Andrew who served me.
