The Salted Lime! 🍋‍🟩 Located inside the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles, this spot is a must-try for anyone craving Tex-Mex with a twist. 🌮🍹 I’m a margarita girl through and through, so I had to try their margarita flight, but was I in for a surprise when it came out as a margarita tower! 😱 Patrón bottles filled with the most amazing margaritas. Total dream come true! 💫 Brandon went for the lemon drop margarita, combining two of his favorite drinks, and it was perfection. 🍋 He also tried the anejo old fashioned. That was a slow sipper. As for the food, we kicked things off with housemade guac and queso with chorizo, so good! For entrees, I got the combo plate with a carne asada chimichanga and shrimp taco, while Brandon went for a chimichanga with birria beef. 🤤 And let’s not forget about dessert, the tres leches cake and churro cheesecake were to die for! I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Salted Lime inside Ameristar St. Charles, and it was an experience worth savoring. Forgot to take pictures of how amazing the food was! Reasonably priced food wise, the drinks are a little more but delicisouly worth it. Our server Amy was super friendly, fast, and I swear can read your mind if you needed anything. Huge fan, will be back to try more. The nachos could easily be a meal on its own. I ordered the shrimp tacos and was very satisfied.

The newly revamped space is serving up delicious Mexican food, fun margaritas, Patron trees, and an amazing Birria Chimichanga! Be sure to save room for dessert because everything is made in house and SO delicious!!!
