As White Rabbit said, “I’m late, I’m late for a very important date!” The “date” with the Spring menu at First Watch. Hurry before you miss the opportunity to try their WILD BERRY LAVENDER FRENCH TOAST and SoCal BREAKFAST HASH!! Meet friends for breakfast and a “catch-up” session, it has been way too long. I was actually the early bird this morning, and I am notoriously late. While I waited I enjoyed their HONEY CARAMEL CRUNCH iced coffee. Off the Spring menu we opted for the SoCal Hash and Lavender French toast. I am a little sad they will be gone in TWO WEEKS. The hash had a melding of flavors that danced across your tongue with every bite. I did have the pico de gio held. Two small tortilla shells to make a mini taco. Chicken, bacon, beans, eggs, and potato. Packed with a balance of protein, fats, and carbs. The lavender French toast with mixed berry compote did not need syrup, it stood by itself with sweetness that made one feel like they were having dessert that was maybe somewhat healthy - there was fruit involved. The lavender whipped cream was tasty and would go well in a honey lavender latte (hint, hint First Watch). As always the service was top notch, the food was great - always fresh and flavorful. It was great getting to catch up with friends, relax, and enjoy some great food. Go by and catch the Spring menu before it gives way to summer.

Always love getting their food (I usually tend to get it to go). It’s always busy here no matter the time I’ve come. I made sure to utilize the online “get in line” check in option. We only had to wait maybe 2-4 minutes due to this although the host said we may have to wait up to 15. I heard that others just coming in had to wait 30-40 minutes so make sure to check in online before you go! We came in to eat in for the first time today and were served by Taylor. She was very friendly and attentive even while having other tables outside and around the restaurant. My kiddo had the chocolate chip pancake(pictured below) and loved it. My partner tried the Wild Berry Lavender French Toast previously and got it again this time (he loves the lavender whip). I got the Morning Market Veg Omlet (pictured below, with egg whites, the no extra charge for that is awesome!) w/ a side of biscuits and gravy and liked it as well. We both got the Morning Meditation (my all time favorite). Taylor checked in on us regularly. All around great experience and nice atmosphere even if a bit busy. Would gladly eat from here again and have no problem coming in for special occasions. Maybe we could try outside next time weather permitting. Thanks for a nice dining in experience FW! 😊

Very nice place, menu & food looks pretty fancy for the cost. I loved the outside dining atmosphere, barely get a glance at the inside scene because it was SUPER chattery inside. Drinks were great! If you like lemonade, the Purple Haze is for you. If you don't like beets or savory flavors in sweet drinks, the Morning Meditation isn't for you, but my mom LOVED it so it's a love it or hate it thing. It sucks that refills costs the full price of the drink, though. Felt like it wasn't enough drink for the cost, everything else felt great value for the price. The food was overall very good! The croque madame was DELICIOUD and the power wrap tasted bland/mediocre and fell apart easily. Cinnamon toast crunch cinnamon roll was AMAZING!

EDIT 5/8/22: Since I had such a great experience my first time ordering from here two days ago, I thought I’d order from here again on Mother’s Day. WHAT A MISTAKE. I ordered a waffle, turkey sausages, and scrambled eggs with 2 morning meditation juices. My order was scheduled to be ready at 930 (placed at 9). My husband arrived to pick up the food, and it was not ready; they told him it’d be an additional 10 minutes. Well the additional wait time ended up being more like 20 minutes. He was not accommodated, offered anything for the delay or even offered anything to drink while he waited. Once the food was ready, it was sat on the to go shelf. Mind you, my husband had to sit outside and wait. No one called any names or came to notify him that the food was ready. Once he went back inside to ask yet again if the food was finally ready, he was told matter of factly that they’d just sat our order on the to go shelf as if he was to know that. Additionally, our hotel is just a 3 minute walk from the restaurant, so I expected the food to still be warm when he got back; it was not. The food was cold, and to make matters worse, my waffle was over cooked on one side; light and airy on one side and burnt on the other. We will not be patronizing this business again, and I would appreciate an email or call from management to discuss this matter further.

5/6/22: Overall great experience. I ordered pick up, and the customer service was on par when I picked up my food. I ordered the chicken avocado chop salad which was amazing. My husband ordered a side of buttered grits and the elevated egg sandwich which came with breakfast potatoes. He was pleased with the sandwich, however the potatoes were very salty, so much so that he could not eat much of them, and the grits had extremely too much butter. We also ordered the morning meditation juice which was amazing. Aside from the potatoes and grits, this would have been a...

I was shocked so many people were eating here, everyone around us was comlaining. I ordered the Bloody Mary to drink, no rim salt? I tasted it, horrible! Garnished with a stick of over peppered, over sweet, overcooked bacon. Sent the dink back, waitress informs, "there's no refund." What?! Apparently, this restaurant can serve underpar food and drinks missing ingredients and, "it's too bad customer, we dont care and were overchaging you as well!" I ordered the eggs Benedict. Properly prepared eggs Benedict are suppose to be served with poached eggs. Not this restaurant, these yolks were over-hard, topped with 1Tbls of curdled lemon sauce atop of thick ciabatta. The side, under cooked potatoes with some black scrappings from grill and 1 piece of undercooked onion. The whole plate, over seasoned with some unidentifiable spice that did not compliment what was suppose to be eggs Benedict and Fried potatoes. When I finally received a sprite it was in a togo cup because the restaurant didnt have any glasses clean, but this worked out, we were leaving. (We went to another restaurant) My granddaughters pancake (1) was thin and lacked any flavor. The price of the meal was not in comparison to the food, drinks, service or atmosphere. The noise inside was deafing due to the bare floors, tall ceilings and concrete. A conversation was inpossible. I have owned many restaurants and a Chef by trade. This restaurant food is unexceptable and to not refund inedible food when not prepared correctly and missing key ingredients is a scam. I highly do not recommend...

Not a great experience, first time there, wont be back, ever!!

Eggs were greasy, ordered no onions in the seasoned potatoes, they came with no onions, but had so much garlic seasoning, no one could eat them! Really, garlic at 10 am? You'd think the cook would realize if we didn't want onions in the potatoes, then we probably don't like onions, right?....but the rest of the order came out with shallots (shallots are onions!!) all over the eggs and all over the bacon.... had to scrape it all off, still had the flavor of onions. Now for the toast, well, I understand how some people may like nuts, grains and seeds in their toast. But it certainly IS NOT main stream ..so why would they only have one kind of toast to offer???? Overall after I scraped off tons of shallots (oinions) from my eggs then used two napkins to sop up the grease...they were at best, marginally edible. Bacon was ok after I scraped all of the shallots off. Toast was terrible, shallots (onions) on everything....super garlicky fried potatoes...my husbands breakfast was cold and his came out first... I had to wait for everything to be messed up entirely . Our bill for this comedy of errors called a breakfast was $43.77!! With tip nearly $50.00 FOR TWO PEOPLE!! I HIGHLY- DO NOT RECOMMEND... if only for price alone and not all of the mistakes. Save your money and go anywhere else two different times, for the...
