I honestly never heard of this place until I was on groupon one day and bought my husband and I a dinner for two for anyday. It came with two "glasses" of wine, which are roughly 4 oz of wine each. 2 entres and a desert to share.
We were sat by a very friendly woman who let us pick where we wanted to sit and gave us our menus and helped us on what we could have with having the groupon and told us our waitress would go over it more. The waitress, who never introduced herself, came over and just said what can I get you. We had to tell her about how we had the groupon and immediately her mood went from just short to short and rude. I was going to pay an upgrade fee for a specialty beverage but last minute just decided to stick to wine. She rolled her eyes and said "oh ok".
Upon recieving our drinks she asked if we were ready to order. We were ,but had a few questions about the menu. By golly you would of thought we were asking her to borrow $100. Ended up ordering and honestly the house salad was AWESOME and my husband said the ceaser salad was great too. After about another 20 minutes our food came out and my husband ordered the Shrimp & Andouille Sausage Pasta. He said it was fine other than it was cold and where we choose to sit we could see the cook heating everything up in the microwave. I ordered The Mediterranean Pasta and NOPE.. SO GROSS! Do NOT recommend, even let my husband try it and he said it was gross. Also each one of our entrees only came with 3 shrimp. If we didn't have the groupon the portion size and amount of shrimp you get is not worth $17.95 & $16.95.
I do not forsee ourselfs going back. We over heard others talk, and yes you can hear everyones conversation because you are sitting on top of one another, on how poor the service was and how the food just wasn't that great. Some even said they will just pass on the desert because they were done.
I only gave 2 stars because the lowest I could give is one star and the hostess alone deserved a star for herself....
Read moreNo stars for this establishment. We literally waited in line for 8 minutes just to put our name on the list for outside dining because there wasn't a hostess in site. When we went inside to mention there wasn't anyone taking names they said just keep waiting. Really isn't this a food service establishment. I couldn't understand why when there were 2 women standing inside not busy at the time why one of them couldn't take names for seating purposes. Finally the hostess shows up outside and tells us it is a 25 minute wait outside. So we decide to dine inside. The woman behind th counter pointed at a table and said you can sit there. No menus we grabbed few on our own. Then we sat and waited for 15 minutes for someone to ask what we would like to drink. So again we ask one of the women behind the counter if someone would please take our drink orders. She responded I am just a bartender. Lol. I didn't ask for food. I asked for drinks. Isn't that what a bartender does. I actually refrained from being rude and asked if she could find us a server. She said she thought someone had helped us because we had menus. We had grabbed the menus ourselves. Lol. So a servers comes and we give him our whole order drinks and food etc. So the drinks come out quickly. I'm thinking this is better. Nope wrong answer, the salads came out and can u say less salad and more ceasar please. How do you screw up a ceasar salad. Then we have knats just flying around us and no one asking how is everything can I get you another drink. We waited 30 minutes for the soups. Not good. Then the entrees. Mine was good but not the other 3. Literally one of the worst dining experience I have had in awhile. However they did refund money for the lasagna. I normally don't leave negative reviews but this was a very irritating experience and we had driven 2 hours to eat at this establishment. I was and am very...
Read moreA group of friends and I went yesterday, we were really looking forward to trying this place out. It had tons of people and it's a very cute little place. They have indoor and outdoor seating and welcome dogs. While the food was delicious (try out the ceasar salad and the Good Neighbor sandwich), I was really disappointed in the service and attitude of the older lady who helped us. We were never greeted, and we did not see a sign that said we needed to wait for a server to seat us, so a friend was scouting out places a larger group could sit at and wondered if we could push two tables together. The older woman with dark hair and a medium haircut was pretty aggressive in her tone asking what we thought we were doing. We apologized and put the chair back at the table and explained. She seated us in the back, and we sat for half an hour with no drinks or menus. A younger girl noticed us and gave our menus, waited another 10 and then gave our drink and entree orders. An hour and fifteen minutes passed and we finally got our orders. We finished up, waited another 30 minutes, no one ever came back and we needed to get going. We went up to the front, and again, the older darker haired lady ignored us, while she worked the window. None of our tickets were separated, and we told her what we had separately. My transaction went fairly smooth, though two of my friends were overcharged for drinks and entrees. Overall...cute place and good food...bad attitudes...not sure if I'll...
