The one star review is for the manager and the original server whose section we were seated in. Neither even bothered to come to our table. Made reservation and arrived 5 minutes earlier but were not seated for 25 minutes after our reservation time. No problem I expected not to be seat exactly at our reservation time. Once seated though, we were never greeted by a server. A server walked past our table 6 time over a 20 minute time frame to all the table surrounding ours but he never approached us. I then walked up to the hostess desk and asked who our waiter was because no one had come to our table yet. She said she would go get our waiter and I went back to our table. 5 minutes more and I see her walking back to her desk with a tall server next to her and I assume he would come to our table. He did not. He was the one who had passed our table multiple time without stopping and again he walked past use several more time without stopping. My wife then told me that while I was parking the car after dropping her and my disable daughter off at the door, that she saw this waiter come up to the hostess desk and tell the hostess not to sit anymore people in his section. Once my wife told me this I knew what was going on. He was going to ignore us to make a point to the hostess and we were now the one that were going to suffer. So I went back up to the hostess desk and asked when the server was going to come to our table or did we need to see the manager. She said she would go get the server and off she went. It had now been 1 hour since we had been seated. Four other tables around us all had their drinks and food and we had not even had anyone come to our table. Finally a women came over and said the manager had asked her to come wait on use from her section ( on the other side of the restaurant ) since our server had not come to see us. The server was very nice and took very good care of us and I gave her a 35% tip because she did so, but the manager should have come and apologized for the initial issue we had. He never did come to see if things were ok, but I was him up at the hostess deck several time and even saw him walk past us once ( though I did not know he was the manager until later or I would have stopped him). It is disgraceful that any customer be treated the way we were but with our disable daughter with us made the whole situation worst. I can’t believe that people these days are still willing to go out of their way to make people with disabilities fee even more unwanted by the way they treat them. This server did not what any more people in his section, but the other two table seated in his section after us were both waited one by him as we sat there waiting for someone to come take our order. I can only assume he did not want to wait of someone with special needs because it would require extra work on his part. Since the manger also did not come see us I can only assume that this view is also shared by the management of PF Chang’s. So, if you are disabled or have a child with special needs I do not recommend ever going...

We arrived in Saint Charles on Sunday for a girls' trip. On Monday, we ate breakfast at a nearby restaurant. While there, we saw P.F. Chang's and decided we would have dinner there on Monday evening. We love P.F. Chang's and there isn't one near our hometown.
As it was Monday evening, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. When we arrived, the hostess was on the phone with a customer. We waited for at least five-10 minutes while she finished taking the phone order. The hostess didn't look up or make any effort to acknowledge us, that was an issue. It isn't difficult to look up from the phone and acknowledge us. While she was on the phone, she acted frustrated with the caller. She finished her call, said nothing to us, grabbed menus and took us to a booth.
As we waited to be seated, there were many employees milling around (doing nothing) that probably could have seated us. Several of them looked at us, even walked by us, but didn't do anything to help. No one even spoke to welcome us.
Our server didn't greet us. She just asked what we wanted to drink.
We ordered lettuce wraps and egg rolls for appetizers. The lettuce wraps arrived promptly, but the egg rolls didn't arrive until our entrees were served, about 15 minutes later. As always, the chicken lettuce wraps were amazing! The egg rolls were delicious, too, and worth the wait.
Our server kept our drinks filled, but never took the empty glasses. We had six glasses and appetizer plates on the table while we ate. I'm not sure how P.F. Chang's usually handles empty plates and glasses, but they were taking up quite a bit of room on the table. I thought it was ridiculous.
When we finished, we needed boxes. We asked for them and were given two... even though there were three of us who - quite clearly - had not finished our meals.
The server acted like she was doing us a favor by taking care of our requests. We didn't ask for anything above and beyond. I guess we've just come to expect better service at P.F. Chang's.
Our entrees, signature chicken lo mein, signature shrimp lo mein, and sesame chicken were all hot and delicious! We will NOT return to this location! I just hope you can find employees who act like the give a crap that you've decided to spend your money at their establishment!

Read moreThis was my first experience at a P.F. Chang’s. Unfortunately, this establishment didn’t hit the mark. As someone who is in the restaurant business, I am fully aware how first impressions can make or break a customer coming back. Our server did not explain the 3 course meal very well. She mentioned the appetizer was meant for the table. As I was going to order it as well by telling her 2 orders for soup, however, it still left me confused. Which made her ask if I still needed time to look over the menu and I agreed I did. When she returned I said I’d rather just do an entreé and pointed to it and ordered. When our appetizers came out she was going to give me soup and I told her I didn’t order the 3 course meal. She then replied that I did and that’s what was put in the system. She assumed I was continuing to order the 3 course meal and I was not.
Service: She seemed bothered after she rang the order in correctly from the miscommunication and service was okay after. I asked for our crab wontons to have the sauce on the side and not bathing in it. She said sure. It came out bathing in the sauce.
Food: The pork egg rolls that were meant to be for the table from the 3 course meal had only 2 egg rolls. If I had ordered the 3 course meal along with the other 2 in my group that also purchased that I would have been very angry given that she said it was only one appetizer per table. How would a table share 2 egg rolls between 3 people??
The new popcorn chicken appetizer looked as if it was the bottom of the bag with crumbs. $15.79 for this was unacceptable. The picture added says a thousand words. I expect to receive a good portion size not half filled with fried vermicelli noodles and dried up pepper rings. Same went with my entreé. Mostly half filled with fried noodles which I had to pick off.
The tofu in the pad Thai was so gummy and small you couldn’t even tell it was tofu. My daughter commented that it was the same size as the crushed peanuts.
Overall rating due to our experience I would not recommend dining here. My children requested we don’t return to a P.F....
