Firstly, the coffee here is always fantastic hot or cold. It is a must stop in St.Charles!
Next, the food is pretty good I think it could be better and is a little pricey, but still good. The side of fruit is a nice touch. I will say, in a previous visit I was pretty upset that the Lox bagel I had ordered came out disassembled. I paid 9 bucks for it, and when I go out for food I expect it to be ready to eat. I did not expect to have to spread the cream cheese and put it together myself. Today when I went in, I felt a little needy when I asked if they could put it together for me. But in reality, I am paying money for food made by someone else. Not just for the ingredients. I feel like it's weird that it normally comes disassembled. I think they should definitely change that, so I don't have to ask.
Love the employees, the atmosphere, the coffee! It is a wonderful place to stop in at. 🥹 I just wish...
Read moreThe espresso is great and that’s what keeps me coming back, but I get frustrated by a few things. It seems like they are often short staffed because there will be one person working a line of like 20 people. The line itself kinda ruins the vibe because you have a large mass of people constantly standing in the middle of the place, not to mention it’s a solid 10 minute wait just to order. The people making the espresso are great, but again short-staffed, because sometimes the wait seems a bit too long. And this is maybe a niche thing but I’ve had an issue where when I order food, they use a pastry tissue after putting it full down on the counter in front of the cash register and just leaving it there… then using it to grab my food. Often there’s not really a good place to sit because people will take a table and just sit there for ages. Again the coffee is good but the combination of elements often...
Read moreSo I decided to start a journey to find the best coffee around. There are few that I consider my favorite coffees around but when it comes to coffee, it’s said “the more the merrier” Today I chose Picasso’s. I walked in where it’s a kind staff. And I liked the decorations. So the first thing I said when I was asked how I can be helped, coffee. He replied either the house blend or Bourbon Pecan. The latter sounded interesting and that was what I got. I wouldn’t say it is the best coffee I’ve had, but it easily beat most of the over rated franchise coffee around us. I wouldn’t get out of my way to grab a coffee from them but if I was around I felt like coffee, o would get one and maybe next time try some of their pastries or the...
