I used to really like b dubs.. however it is extremely overpriced and the last two times I have been, service is slow and staff is not as friendly as it once was. Buy the sauce from there.. an air fryer, some wings from the store and you will be better off.
2nd review. The one above is a review from a couple months back. Just for the record it has gotten worse. Hour and 35 mins for lunch and it was cold when it came out. Another 10 mins to pay. Staff dont seem to care if you are there or not. Have to ask for everything and did i mention it is SLOW!! Vowed to not go back for sure.
Another update for BWW.. 3rd one is not a charm.. went the other day and cleanliness is AWFUL. looked like someone threw up ramen noodles in the urinal from the night before. Was still there at 4pm the next day. Also.. nachos looked like the nachos from stepbrothers. Chips cheese was cold and stuck to the paper. Probably ate as much of the paper as any part of the nachos. Terrible. The only bright spot was the waitress in the bar area... she worked her tail off but was the only one working on a day where the NCAA tournament was going. I keep falling for the trick. Can St Joe please open a sports bar that does this right?
4th Review - July 2025- Food gradually gets worse. The only time I go here is when I meet other people and they made the plans. Its almost an adventure to try the boneless wings each time to see if it was as bad as the last... and guess what it is. They are cold most of the time... hard as a rock and look like someone has a personal finance budget on how much they sauce the wings. I thought maybe I ordered plain hard chicken nuggets but I didnt pay for it. Still 29 dollars for 15 boneless wings and some wedges. I honestly dont know how they stay open other than they have a sports bar set up with a lot of taps and this town has nothing to match with the space and hours. If Adams ever made a north location and stayed open til midnight and had the fights on and football... It would probably end Bdubs. Idk. I hate giving bad reviews over and over... usually not my style at all but its so bad. Most adults my age agree. I think its set up for high school kids and early college kids who dont have many expectations. ...
Read moreVery disappointed. Went there tonight and arrived to a packed restaurant. The host greeted us and told us she would clean a table so we could sit. (Which wasn’t a bother at all) It all went bad after that though. We waited 15 minutes for someone to come to our table to get our drink order and we ordered our food then. Once our drinks were returned my daughter and i’s Pepsi was flat and tried to flag our server down to see if we could get something else but couldn’t. While watching out for our server I noticed the host and a red haired server were fighting back and forth (not loudly but bc I was looking I noticed and saw the host upset after being yelled at by the server) (not okay) After 20 minutes later with no contact from our server a different server brought out my husband and i’s food and asked if we needed refills and I asked if we could get a different soda and she did it. I then asked her if she was our server to which she said “no I’m sorry I’m not.” 10 more minutes go by and my daughter still hasn’t had her food and my husband and I were almost done. I then continually tried to contact our server with no luck. A few minutes later the same server who brought out our food stopped to check on us and I explained what was going on and she immediately helped us. Shout out to Hazel! But we still had no idea who our server was. After my daughter got her food my husbands drink was spilled and we tried to flag someone down again to get us some napkins so we could clean it. The table in front of us had problems as well and the manager Jared was talking to them so I asked when he got a moment if I could talk to him as well. When he came over I just wanted to explain what was going on. He asked what we needed and we just asked for napkins and refill for my husband. He said he would take 20% off and clean the table for us(11$). But his demeanor and tone was in my unprofessional opinion uncaring and over it. Finally hazel came by and asked if we needed our check and we said we did. While she was getting it for us our server finally showed up 1 hour after we initially sat down and said “sorry do you need your check sorry” I told her another server was getting it. Just all around a mess. Except the SERVER who...
Read moreWe were on our way home to Minnesota and stopped in St Joseph Missouri. We were the only people sitting at a table. Maybe 8 people at the bar. It took the wait staff 30 minutes to figure out who was going to be waiting on us because they were noisily discussing who was going to get off early. One finally came over and was confused when we asked for 2 Miller High Life beers. They didn't seem to be familiar with that name and didn't know if they had any. A different one came back 15 minutes later to ask if we wanted MillerLite we said no how about 2 Baileys and coffee and were told they would have to make coffee and it was a giant coffee pot and would take awhile to make. They were gone again for quite some time. Long enough for each of us one at a time to go to the bathroom. We watched a party of 4 come in and get waited on. We still had nothing to drink, water or menus. A party of 6 came in who were also waited on. Finally we got water and and had to ask again for menus. We ordered food and one of the items was recommended by the waitress the tots with chunks of brisket. It was nothing like the description on the menu as it had a spoon full of sauce accidently spilled on one corner with 2 bites of brisket. We finally get a tiny shot glass of Baileys and a small cup of coffee and we're told that's the only size coffee cups they have. When we asked for more coffee they said they had to bring another cup and couldn't fill the cup we had. It was early in the evening when we were there and the food looked like it was whatever they had left in the fryer around closing time. Clearly not what we expected as we have been to other BWW restaurants in other states and that's the only reason we went there because we knew that the food was good. We get the bill to see we have been charged for each individual cup of coffee, since when does a restaurant charge per cup. The service was terrible the food was terrible and the per cup charge made us shake our...
