I had horrible service. I ordered takeout and when I arrived I asked the host for an update. She proceeded to go to the back and check for me but when she came back she was clocked out and not wearing her uniform clothes. I thought she was coming to let me know that she was done and that my food would be out shortly. Instead she came up to the front where I was. Made eye contact with me and when I asked her for an update she gave me a “I’m over it” look and ignored me and walked away. I figured maybe she’s tired and wants to go home after a long shift. Nope. As soon as she turned around she walked to an open table where she sat down with her friends. I get it. You’re tired and want to go home but I was super polite and nice and that behavior was totally uncalled for. To make things worst the manager on duty was the one that ended bagging my food and giving it to me. She did not separate the salads from the meats so our salads were warm and we could’ve been exposed to salmonella. Because she tried to fit everything in one bag our main dish was put on the bag on its side so all the juices spilled from the box onto the bag and made all the boxes and the bag wet. And to finish it all off she proceeded to tie the bag so many times we couldn’t open it we had to use scissors. Overall a awful experience all because of a unprofessional host which I can forgive since their young and are just learning how to behave in a restaurant. But for a Manager to be this unprofessional I can’t excuse it. I ended up paying for pickup to sit in the store and wait for my food to be made just so they could bag it terribly. I do have to give it to them their food is good but holy moly their service is garbage.
Retrain your managers so they know how to properly run a restaurant and so they can properly train their hosts. They are the...

I told them I did not want it remade, and just asked for some chips to munch on while the other 4 ate their meals. I was not going to wait 30 minutes to get a new meal made and end up being the only one eating. I got up and quietly spoke to the manager when I was given a bill for $5 for tortilla chips, and told him I felt the chips should be comped and handed him the bill. That should have been the end if it. But, he came over to the table and made a huge deal over it, blaming the waiter. He proceeded to inform us of supply chain problems with their beer suppliers, computer controlled timing system of food prep, and then told a story about a brewery who had to close down due to their employees relieving themselves in the beet vats. At that point I put my hands up, shook my head and said, "I think that's enough". I left the restaurant knowing exactly where the problem is ... it is the management.
What a pleasant Applebee's experience. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the front door and made my way to the bar, where the bartender (Grace) welcomed me with a smile and took my order. My beer came out just the right amount of cold, and my mozzarella sticks came out quickly and hot. The marinara sauce had just the right amount of zest to it. A perfect blend to go with the gooey cheesy goodness. The beer and cheesestick blend really scratched an it and left me wanting more food and another beer, who was i to say no? So I ordered another beer and some Buffalo wings. I'm no food critic, but these were some of the best wings I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The nice cold beer calmed the spice of the Buffalo and I was satisfied. During my short stay, Rachel came and checked to see if everything was good and Ray got behind the bar to see if I wanted another but unfortunately at this point I was full and having to have to drive home, knew a third drink would be a bad idea so I did the responsible thing and declined. As I left the host Annabelle told me to have a good night and thanked me for coming.
I had a great and welcoming experience here for a very affordable price. I'll be returning soon...
