We love the Big Kahuna sandwich. Today we ordered it through Door Dash because we were too busy with work to go get it. It cost us $36.98 for one giant sandwich to split, TWO bags of chips and one pop. Hey, we’re the ones doing it through Door Dash so we didn’t mind paying the extra fees. BUT—when the bag was delivered and we opened it up, it was missing a bag of chips. If we’re paying $2 for a bag of chips and looking forward to eating them and then they’re not in there..that is a problem! It’s not so much about the $2 as it is about the principle of it. BUT—-the real issue is the girl that answered the phone and how she handled it. I was kind at first and told her what happened and she said in a very snotty tone immediately, “That’s not our problem. You ordered through Door Dash and that’s a third party.” I said, “Hold on wait. It’s your responsibility at Jersey Mike’s to put what we ordered into the bag. The dasher didn’t take the bag of chips, the bag was sealed with your stickers.” Her reply, “Not our problem, it’s was through a third party.” I then got irate and told her I’m writing a review and I normally never write bad reviews unless it’s REALLY bad. And her attitude and unwillingness to help in any sort of way was appalling! I wasn’t asking for my money back or anything, she was just being passive, very rude, and snotty. Read moreI like Jersey Mikes. I like that they pay their employees well (and I’m a pretty heavy tipper as well), but I’m starting to wonder why they do. I go to this location probably 40-50 times a year. I’m really getting frustrated with their employees lack of willing to READ THE ORDER. They get it wrong at least 50% if the time. I order extra meat EVERY time and they rarely actually do it. I started to additionally put it in the special instructions as EXTRA MEAT. And they still ignore it. I’ve literally paid hundreds of dollars for “extra meat” that I never got over the past couple years. If I’m paying $25 dollars for ONE SANDWICH, they should at least get it right at least 90% of the time. I order a giant… I get a regular. I order a bowl, I get a regular. I JUST DON’T GET IT. It’s really not that hard. READ THE TICKET!!! On top of that, if you’re going to do an app order, they’re NEVER on time, usually 15-20 minutes later than the pickup time. Sometimes there is a manager that feels bad and they give you a voucher that expired 4 months ago. Since they’re never on time with the app, I suppose I should just wait in line, order at the counter, and make them repeat the order back to me. Read moreAnother update. Made the mistake of ordering online again. 😕 sandwich was to be ready at 11:59. I entered the store at 12:04, and waited til 12.12 before my sandwich was done, and that was only after I inquired about the sandwich. I also was told by employee to move to the other side of the store to wait for my sandwich so as not to be in the way of customers entering store to order. The employees were obviously stumbling along trying to fulfill orders, while two employees, that were most likely managers, sat at a table with their computer and completely ignored what was going on in the . I will not be using this location again.
This place used to be worth five stars. My most recent experiences have been, do not order on the app. They don't take care of online orders until their store is taken care of. I came in almost 10 minutes after my sandwich is supposed to be done, and it wasn't even started. I paid for extra meat, and as he was doing the sandwich I asked him if he did the extra meat and he said he did. When I got the sandwich it was clearly not extra meat. I will post a picture
