I purchase atleast 4-8 dozen macarons at a time every few months for family to share or to have at home when I have guests. At first everything was fine but the last few months more than half of the 6 dozen I just purchase were ROCK HARD!! A year ago when I first started purchasing my macarons here instead of having them next day air shipped from New York, they said their macarons were made fresh daily!?! More like they keep the old inside the case each time they make more they just pile them in and you get variance of freshness from 1 day old to a week old. I spend $60-$105 when I purchase and maybe 30.00 is edible. Last week I placed an order with Nikkolette's Macarons in Minneapolis and I was able to pick them up. I spent 72.00 for my first order and everything was so fresh and yummy!! I also had an issue making a purchase with a young rude girl I asked for 2 dozen of strawberry champ, 2 dozen chocolate, 2 dozen lemon, 2 dozen red wine, 2 dozen passion fruit, 2 dozen raspberry. She was clearly annoyed I was purchasing so many and gave me an attitude from that point on. Well needless to say after repeating it numerous times of what I wanted she only gave me a total of 3 dozen TOTAL. I didn't catch it either because after she repeated my order to me I walked to the register to wait instead of standing to patrol her, then she boxed and bagged it and I paid and left. I got home and was shocked, she clearly didn't want to count, weight, box and bag 12 dozen macarons so she didn't!! I will give cassettes 1 more shot this weekend and after...
Read moreMy sister and I went to the bakery/pasticceria to buy my special needs son a vanilla birthday cake. We paid $50.56 and left a $9.44 tip. The cake was the worst cake we EVER had. The cake consistency was like corn bread dry and very crumbly, it had some sort of frozen tasteless fruit in the middle, the flavor of the cake was tasteless with no sweetness to it at all, and the strawberries on top were beyond ripe and flavorless as well. We served the cake to 8 people and we/they all hated it. I tried calling the business and spoke with the supervisor on duty at 7pm 10/26/2023. I told him that it was the worst cake we have EVER had. I asked the supervisor if itâs supposed to have fruit in the birthday cake? He then told me everything it was supposed to have in and on the cake. He then wrapped up the call by saying âif you have any more questions please feel free to reach out.â I was/am so upset about my sons cake. My son turned 29 years old today. He has had over 80 surgeries since birth, suffers from cerebral palsy, wheelchair bound, shunts in his head, and we are all just happy and blessed he is here with us. We have never gotten the vanilla cake from Cossettas before and wonât ever again. My son tasted it and made the worst face ever and the rest of our faces did the same thing. We all asked âwhat are we eating?â...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this unique Italian establishment that combines a market, bar, restaurant, and pasticceria all under one roof. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the delightful aroma of fresh Italian cuisine. The market offers an impressive selection of authentic Italian ingredients, making it the perfect place to stock up on high-quality ingredients for home cooking.
The pasticceria is the cherry on top. The selection of freshly baked pastries and desserts was a delight. I couldn't resist trying a mango mousse, a raspberry mousse, a pinut butter chocolate tar, and of course the tiramisu. It was a perfect sweet ending to my meal.
Overall, this Italian gem is a true culinary paradise. Whether you're looking to shop for Italian groceries, enjoy a drink at the bar, savor a delicious meal, or satisfy your sweet tooth, this place has it all. I highly recommend it for an authentic...
