Not sure what I was expecting with the breakfast burrito but the one that I picked up with added sausage and extra cheese was very mid and also very soggy. There was some kind of gravy or sauce that the vegetables were sautéed in, yes you heard that right, there are vegetables on this breakfast burrito specifically big chunks of zucchini and spinach along with scrambled eggs wrapped in a tortilla. I genuinely think that I would've liked this if there were no vegetables on the inside, I think I was expecting more of a Mexican style breakfast burrito versus what I received. I would say pass on the breakfast burrito at La Fusion Café. However, there are samosas on the menu, which I would be curious to try at some point if I ever return. Did come with a side of hashbrowns which were crispy and tasted good. I also got a side of hot sauce, which was very...
Read moreI moved here from Texas in 2016, I have been mostly disappointed with any form of quesadilla here in MN. However, I asked the person working there,'What do they recommend?" They suggested the quesadilla, so I ordered the chiken quesadilla with low spice. Though I miss Mexican food in Texas, particularly fresh homemade tortillas, I was highly impressed with how good this was. It was different and delicious. The ingredients were so good, along with the flavor of the spices used, I couldn't stop eating it. I ate half of it, then decided to save the rest for later. On the way to my pick-up spot for my cab, I had to stop and eat more of it while it was still fresh. I'm so glad I found this little place tucked in a parking lot behind Smith Ave. Great food and coffee beverages are good, too, with friendly service. I highly recommend La...
Read moreReally convenient location for the hospital workers and guests. Not being either of those for my trip, I paid $5 and change to park (up to two hours... on street parking close by but I opted not to do that for a couple reasons). The man behind the counter, possibly owner?, was exceptionally attentive, kind, and present, but not in the "can we have a little space, please?" manner. Food was a fair price, roughly $12 per breakfast meal. I feel like if I had gotten more of a traditional cuisine choice, as opposed to omelets, I might have been happier. But I chose what I chose, I guess. The hash browns, while we all like them, I believe were deep fried patties that are nearly identical to McDonald's, at least as far as my untrained eye. The menu lacks a bit of clarity as far as what comes in a dish. Would recommend if in the...
