We were very disappointed in the food, drinks, and level of service here at level 11. First, we ordered a martini and a specialty cocktail, the lavender lemonade. First, They ran out of rosemary simple syrup and instead of telling us they were out of an item, they served the drink without and it was terrible. Very bitter. Our server was nowhere to be found so went to bar to exchange drink out. When server returned, we explained we switched the drink out for a WELL vodka drink and to speak with the bartender. When we got the bill, we were still charged Tito’s plus a rocks pour. Which was $11. Brought it up to the bartender and she explained he should have removed it and charged well vodka price. When we presented that to the server he explained that because we sent it back and got another the charge was accurate at $11? No. Makes no sense. So on top of terrible service, the food was just mediocre, and nothing that great. Our table was dirty and gross and the atmosphere was nothing great. Including a screaming child at 10:30 pm next to us. Don’t waste your money. Visited Friday August 23 and will never visit again! We’re st Pete locals and very dissapointed! Go to the hotel zamora rooftop instead. Much better...
Read moreI wanted to like this place as the view was great, but that's really the extent of it. It was probably the jewel of the beach back in the 80's but just meh today. Service was painfully slow and incompent. Lots of "not my job" service attitude is what we encountered such as food runners who can't be bothered to bring you plates and utensils that your server failed to give you. It's weird to me that management would train staff that it is acceptable to deliver hot food to a table without utensils in the first place. We ended up just taking our credit card to the bar to settle the bill since it was taking the waitress 15minutes to come pick up the CC/bill after dropping it off. I made up my mind after the experience that the top floor restaurant is likely no different so not really planning on coming back. If I go back, I'll just purchase drinks at the bar, watch the...
Read moreLevel 11 has AMAZING views, good drinks, and a freaking killer playlist that I want to get my hands on to duplicate at home (shoulda tagged everything). You'll also find a photographer who strolls the rooftop, but she was a little timid. What I don't understand is the gnat problem on the roof. This was the only drawback of an otherwise stellar evening. After the sunset colors faded, we moved to the sofas at the back half of the roof and sat much more comfortably. The tables set up along the perimeter are a little uncomfortable, but that's okay. You end up standing to take pictures once the sun goes down and the colors come out. We took advantage of the Freebee to take us to/from Pass-A-Grille, so no issues with parking. Also really cute to have witnessed an older couple...
