So disappointingâŚâ¨I had been looking forward to eating here for over a year, especially after all the hurricanes, but unfortunately our experience was not a good one. Parking was a nightmare to start, and the restaurant seemed understaffed. Once we were seated, no one brought menus until I finally reminded them, and then they forget about us and didnât take our order until I went to tell them we were ready. Then they forgot our drink and when our food finally came, it was wrong and underwhelming. I ordered the eggs in a pan âover easyâ with a side of bacon, but they came scrambledâand they forgot my side of bacon. The food itself was bland and tasteless, even after adding a lot of salt. I was taking my daugher out to celebrate making honor roll and her kidsâ French toast was soggy and she barely touched it. It ended up not being the special treat I had hoped for sadly. I really wanted to love this place after hearing so many great things, but the food and service just didnât live up to the hypeâespecially at $15 for a tasteless plate of eggs and potatoes not even prepared as I ordered and missing part of the order. We ended up just paying and leaving most of our food there in the styrofoam boxes they served it in. Iâm giving 2 stars, which is generous, only because I understand how hard the storms have been on local businesses, but I truly hope they can get back to the level everyone...

From the moment we sat down, it was clear why locals and vacationers alike rave about this spotâitâs casual, welcoming, and unapologetically generous with its portions.
The breakfast here was hands-down one of the best Iâve ever had. Plates arrive quickly, heaping with food thatâs not only plentiful but surprisingly well-priced. Letâs talk about the bacon đĽâperfectly crisp, smoky, and honestly divine. My honey went for the Spanish Omelette, and Iâve never seen someone rave about eggs with such enthusiasm. Every bite looked so good that we didnât even pause for photos (a food bloggerâs ultimate compliment).
We grabbed a cozy booth inside, where the atmosphere was lively but never rushed. Our server, Daniel, struck the perfect balance of laid-back beach vibes and attentive service. He knew the menu inside out, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made us feel right at home. If you visit, do yourself a favor and ask for Danielâheâll elevate your experience.
đ´ Bottom line: The Frog Pond delivers hearty, flavorful comfort food at lightning speed with a side of true beach-town hospitality. Whether youâre a local or just passing through, this is a must-stop breakfast spot in...
