I placed a simple order: a Chalupa Supreme sub beef with beans and a bean burrito. Despite there being only 3-4 cars ahead of me in the drive-thru, I had to wait an unacceptable 30-45 minutes for my food. The wait was so long that I had to put my car in park.
When I finally reached the window, my order wasn't even ready. The staff asked me to repeat my order, which I did: "a Chalupa with beans and a bean burrito." After apologizing for the delay, they informed me that my food was being prepared and asked me to wait. Several minutes later, I received my order and asked for confirmation that the Chalupa was made with beans. The staff member responded, "Yes, I believe it should, but if it doesn’t, come back and we’ll make you another one."
Given the excessive wait time I had already endured, the idea of returning to stand in line for another 45 minutes was not a viable option. As I drove away, I started eating my bean burrito, which tasted off. I quickly realized it had sour cream and a texture that was unusual. Upon further inspection at home, I was horrified to find out that both the BEAN burrito and the Chalupa contained beef.
As someone with dietary restrictions due to religious and cultural beliefs, this situation is deeply troubling. Not only was my order incorrect, but I also inadvertently consumed beef, which violates my religious practices. This entire experience was appalling and unacceptable for a fast-food establishment that should prioritize accuracy and customer service.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have had a negative experience at this Taco Bell location. A few months ago, I contacted Taco Bell customer service after receiving an order that was so disorganized and poorly made that I had to eat my Chalupa and soft taco with a fork. Customer service never responded or took any action to address that issue.
I am still shocked and upset by this incident and expect this matter to be...
Read moreThis Taco Bell is right down the street from me, a 2 min drive. It used to be great but lately it’s been terrible. Not only have they reduced closing to 10 (even though it says 12 online), but the service and experience has been so awful. Last time I was here, the drive thru was literally closed and I had a mobile order for drive thru. Had to go inside and wait for my mobile order. After standing there for 10 min, someone finally helped me. But then 20 mins pass after that and come to find out the guy that helped me never put my order in. Manager finally came up and asked what my order was. During the time I was waiting, I saw people in the back literally just talking and ignoring the customers in the front. I finally got my food after 40 mins. Today, I had a mobile order put in, and there was a line. Pretty normal. Come to find out, I sat in line for 30 mins to be told that they were out of ground beef and everything on my order had ground beef. The guy in front of me was also there for 10 mins at the speaker and no one even greeted him. I asked them to cancel my order and refund, they said there is a cancel button on the app when there isn’t (there used to be but for some reason they got rid of it), I told them there wasn’t and they basically told me “I don’t know what to tell you then.” I don’t know why they can’t just give you back refund or be able to cancel orders in store. This place is terrible. I would rather go 10 mins away to the next closest Taco Bell on Mexico Road then go back to this place just right down the...
Read moreHas been on a steady decline for a few months. First bad experience was in dining room. Ordered from the kiosk because no one would take my order. Was paying with cash though. Waited 15 minutes as only person inside. Finally got an employee to look at me and I asked how much longer. She said they didn't have my order yet. I guess because I hadn't paid. How am I supposed to pay if no one will look at me to even see I am waiting. Second bad experience was in drive thru. Pulled up to speaker and an automated voice asked about using the mobile app. I said no and waited for a person. No one came so after about 5 minutes I called the store. No answer. Keep in mind There are at least two employees I can see. Three cars in tht lot. Dining room lights were off but all the other lights were on. Tried calling, no answer. Called again finally a woman answered and said they closed at 8. Strange. No signs anywhere. Also why wouldn't you say that through the speaker. I know they saw the cars in drive through and were just ignoring us. I have worked in customer service my entire adult life. I understand things happen. I just can't understand how this is acceptable? Also I should add my husband worked at this particular taco bell from the ages of 16-22. I know how many people can run a store after the dinner rush. 2-3 is plenty. I also know that corporate would not like the way this situation is being handled at this store. This used to be one of the highest volume stores in our area and had the best...
