This place was the cutest find in downtown St Pete! If you love wine, beer, happy hours, and chinchilla-themed anything, this is your place!

Meredith, our lovely purveyor of "great liquids", was awesome and friendly and informative about their offerings.

They have a fantastic selection of madeiras, ports, and other wines. They also offer an array of draught beers.

Be sure to check-in on the app for your free pour of their Rainwater madeira (if you are new to madeiras, this is a great one to start with).

The chinchilla theme is so much fun! They have chinchilla vids playing on the TV, have the cutest shirts and masks and you can even play "chinchilla plinko" with a purchase of a bottle!

They do have bottles for purchase to consume on or off premises.

The inside is so clean, adorably and modernly decorated, and there is inside, outside, and bar seating.

If you haven't been to bar chinchilla, you are truly missing out. This is one of the most upstanding little bars in the greater Tampa Bay area. It's very small but has an incredibly unique wine selection by the glass and by the bottle. They also always have seven or eight beers on tap and more beers and bottles that are unique and from different places around the world. Lindsay who works there is absolutely outstanding and is one of the main reasons to go. She will make the time spent there incredible and she consistently makes amazing recommendations for wine.
