iMotorsports St. Pete — Local services in Saint Petersburg

This is my second new purchase from IMotorsports in ST Pete. My first was a Kawasaki ZH2 September of last year. I wanted to get back to a cruiser recently and called around to the (local ) Harley dealer. The folks were nice but we will just say not doing business the way I needed it done. Called a few other bike places just trying to value my trade knowing I was going to get smoked trading in a brand new bike after a year with only 800 miles on her. After countless $£%k off quotes from all the local major dealers I called Justin to gather some info. Justin set me up with Kalvin in the Indian dealer side of things as I had never even considered Indian. This is now why I’m a customer for life. Worked with me over the phone and via text as I work over the road. Had a trade in value in 30 min. Took a few days to narrow down what was available and what I wanted. Kalvin walked me thru each and every thing I needed and eventually we satisfied my cravings with a 2022 Chieftain Dark Horse . He even got me $500 in free accessories! Shout out to Alex for my seat rest !!!! Now when you get turned over to the slick talking finance guys your expectations are to be ran thru the mill and your pockets emptied with all the junk they push on you and why the rates high or this fee that fee and why the price is a million dollars higher than when we started . We all know the deal. Not here and not with Justin. He wouldn’t have even let me start the trade till I explained why I was swapping bikes so soon wanting to make sure we couldn’t solve my issue another way. Talk about making sure I’m making smart decisions ! Amazing rate , great term , perfect trade process . All my fears are gone. I feel great and I am cruising down the road on an amazing machine. In January of 2023 I bought my 2nd used bike from them, a 2009 Yamaha R1 with 11k miles on it. The first was an older R1, a 2003 that had only 10k miles on it. I purchased the 03 about 18 months earlier. I hadn't ridden in more than 15 years and didn't want to spend much, or have as many electronics to fool with, so I started on the older bike. In January I seen an advertisement for a gorgeous 2009, so I just had to take a look at it. When I came back I fell in love with it. The sight and sound were phenomenal. So I told them I would only upgrade if they gave me a decent trade in, or else I'd private sell mine and come back with cash. Well, they gave me a great trade in price on the 03, so I went with the upgrade. They told me that coming back to them with repeat business really meant a lot, so they'd give me a good trade in knowing that they wouldn't make much on reselling the 03, maybe $1000 or so... They made it obvious they value customer loyalty.

My review of the bike's themselves, they were both great. Plus, their service shop has always taken very good care of me when doing maintenance or any upgrades. They'd even give me a good deal trying to match website prices. Sometimes they could go as low as a Yamaha brand specialist(iMotorsports specializes in Indian and Polaris), but they'd get as close as they could. I'd usually pay the extra $20 over web prices for a part, in order to make sure they'd fully warranty the work. I didn't want a faulty website part to cause me to have to pay for extra labor or shipping something back. It's worth it to have the peace of mind for such a small amount.

After my experiences with this shop, as I get older, and likely move to something a little more relaxed, I am definitely buying an Indian from them.
