I am a regular DD customer and this location needs to work on its customer service, making sure the order is complete and correct. We got to the window after 5 mins of the cashier not being able to hear us or us hearing them because they were mumbling, we pulled up and someone else asked what we ordered apparently it wasn’t rang in so we had to reiterate our order. We had to ask for napkins. We received some of the order to which our 10 count munchkins were thrown at the bottom of a bag not even placed in a separate box or anything with the napkins thrown on top of them, we were told to pull around to the side for the rest of our order (we were the only car there and there was plenty of employees inside). The cashier brought us the order forgetting the straws, I asked him for straws he never came back. I had to go inside because the straws and the order was incorrect. The cashier who took my order argued with me that I never requested bacon; yet on my receipt it clearly shows BACON as a protein on the wake up wrap (I had to prove that as well). They wanted to see the wake up wrap, I had to run back outside and bring it in and show them there was no bacon. I asked what the point of the drive through was when I had to come back inside to grab a straw, and have my order corrected?. I was told this was the HOOD and people steal food. Another employee asked what I was planning on doing with the order that was incorrect? I told them I was keeping it. She said something like “maybe we had plans for it” to which my response was “are you planning on eating it?”… we will not be returning to this “hood” location ever again. Read moreI live literally across the street from this place and always wondered why it was never busy. Now I know. The first two times I went there was to get my boyfriend's iced coffee that he likes - even though he says they're inconsistent with how they make it (regular iced coffee with cream and sugar); it's either too sweet or too bitter.
Tonight we went because we didn't feel like driving all the way down to other places for some midnight grub. It was TERRIBLE. First we waited at the window long enough to where I was able to turn off my car, only for the order taker to appear with one bag, and then disappear without so much as a word - we had ordered two things and they gave us one in the bag. I kept trying to get the only other person in the store's attention but he was too focused on something else. Then guy comes back to the window and literally says, "What?" like it was a bother that I wanted the other part of the order. He gives me the second bag as he says it and I apologized for trying to get his attention like that. However, had he just told me that there was a second bag coming, I would have been more than ok. When we get home, my donut is hard and stale while his chicken biscuit is...I don't even know what that was. We both work for fast food too so we know crap food when we see it. The chicken was tough and could barely tear it, the top part of the biscuit was too soft, while the bottom part had what looked like burnt cheese on it. We just threw it away. Read moreSo the last two days I been lazy and don't want to drive a lil further down to Starbucks like I usually do and was like what the heck let me try DD. Why did I even do it? Yesterday when I went my ice coffee was disgusting and with so much sugar I chocked when I took the first sip. I basically threw it out couldn't drink it. This morning when I go trying it out again the girl that was taking orders for the drive thru was so damn nasty and rude it was just ridiculous. Her tone of voice and attitude was like she was talking to a friend or someone in the street. When I am a damn customer paying giving you my money. I had to repeat my order 3 times still she didn't get it, didn't know what donuts they had left. Then I repeated My order one more time trying to help her out and she comes and says okay whatever is their anything else you want. That was the last strike and I just drove off and went to Starbucks. I rather pay a little more and get better quality coffee with better service. DD you really need to get it together and better train your employees. That girl this morning working he drive thru should not even be working people. She is rude and disrespectful.
