Wish there was a minus rating! Never have I been in a Donut Store that doesn't have any donuts when they open up. The person who waited (and I use that term loosely) came from the back. It was not the person listed on the receipt (#562568). Not only didn't I get what I asked for, I was told what I asked for was what I got. I asked for four glazed chocolate donuts and two Boston Creme. When I got the box I saw your staff had placed four chocolate/chocolate glazed donuts in it. I remarked that those were not chocolate glazed and I was sorry for my apparent miscommunication. And what I was requesting was glazed donuts with chocolate on top. I was then told "No these are chocolate glazed. I again said do you have the others. Answer was no. Also said "don't have any boston creme either. Why open up at 5:00am? Just wait until after 6:00. Then maybe the staff will have the items (DONUTS) stocked. Very upset. I went to the local donut shop to retrieve the items requested. Not only did that establishment (Fray's Donuts on 34th street north and 7th ave) open up 10 min early ( normal time is 5:30) because they saw me waiting, they actually had their whole array of products on display and ready to go. Mind you her daughter or granddaughter has been waiting for her to get off for longer than I was there with two friends. I was so embarrassed that I went to my car to find enough change to buy a 99Ā¢ donut. As I did the woman and granddaughter started packing up their belongings to leave. I asked the cashier how much loitering time my 99Ā¢ would purchase. She thought I was joking and replied "oh no one actually enforces that we don't care how long you stay." She thought I was joking and when I explained that her co worker had just interrupted my time discussing personal issues with my friend, she was shocked. She discounted my donut for which I had exact change and I placed the 4 extra pennies in the jar. I will be going back to speak to a manager about how I was mistreated and totally embarrassed by an employee who made me feel awkward and ashamed to need a public space when I didn't have enough money to buy the cheapest item on the menu.
