Extra Space Storage — Local services in Saint Petersburg

I moved here over the weekend and it was the smoothest transition from one location to the other. The unit that I have occupied is a 10 x 8. Initially I thought that this was going to be too much space, but it's really perfect for larger furniture and the many boxes that I appear to have in my possession.

Access to the facility to very easy. Entry to units is via a side entrance that you can get to without having to go through a gate. Certainly a big perk since that was something that I had to contend with at my previous location.

When inside you can only access the first floor and the floor that your unit is located. Between the elevators and dolly's that are provided, moving through the unit was very easy. With the unit being designed the way that it has been, loading/unloading was very easy for me and my fiancé. I certainly feel as though my possessions are safe in the unit.

We also borrowed their van to move a couple of large items, and that was also a very good experience. The van is well looked after. Make sure that you take advantage of any bits of equipment that they let you borrow for sure. I found the use of their blankets beyond helpful.

Overall I would highly recommend this unit. The location is quite great too. It's located right off of 22nd Ave, directly next door to the Sams Club. It's a relatively quiet location and getting in and out is a dream since you aren't contending with major traffic or any other heavy driving activity close by.

If you're in the area and looking for a place to store your items, I would certainly give this place a chance. The front office lady was also very lovely. She was personable and friendly which was...

And Cindy is so GREAT ! SHE is such a great teacher ! She taught me everything I needed to know to be successful in operating the the doors, the unit, everything.

She taught me so well, and had great patience to every question I had. I know the staff and the other unit owners are blessed to have her. She is so helpful

UPDATE : This is still the most Cleanest, most beautiful storage I have ever rented from. It was the first one I have ever had. And I have been back now with it being Extra Space Storage. And I Love It Here!

I am going to miss it. But I know if I ever needed storage, this location is where I would come. Beyond Gorgeous.
