To be fair, we knew grabbing food anywhere after midnight on St Paddy's Day was going to be an ordeal. What we were not prepared for was the horrible customer service that would come with it. When we arrived, there were maybe 5 people in front of us. We ordered a pizza and mozzarella sticks, and were told it would be 25 minutes. No problem. She even offered to send the mozzarella sticks out to us while we waited. Awesome. Except it was about 45 minutes later when we realized everyone ahead of us in line were now long gone, and we were still sitting there. We asked the girl at the counter, and overheard her ask the cooks about our order. It was clear from their conversation that our order had been forgotten about. Afraid we would have to wait another "25 minutes", we questioned how this was going to be handled. That is when the gentlemen making the pizzas YELLED at us to "look at the line!". 1, I'm not 5 years old. And 2, we had looked at the line. Many times over. Besides, how is that even relevant when we had been there WAY before anyone in the current line? About an hour before them to be exact. But at least he was making our pizza while he yelled at us, so that was progress. 10 minutes later, we got our pizza. Our incorrect pizza, as it was missing one of the toppings we had requested. And paid for. But judging by the already stellar customer service we had received, we decided just to let it be. Being yelled at once was plenty. The mediocre pizza was merely the bonus to an already regretful decision to order pizza from there in the first place. I felt horrible for the girl at the counter who was trying her best but was clearly overwhelmed And the lack of support she received from the rest of her staff was obvious. It would have been easy for any one of them to simply say "I'm sorry". Instead they chose the absolute worst way to handle the situation. So now I'm the one that's sorry. Sorry that we won't ever...
Read moreTony's Pizza is a culinary enigma, and I mean that in the best way possible. How they managed to make a pizza crust that is simultaneously doughy in the middle yet crunchy thin on the outside is a mystery only rivaled by the Bermuda Triangle. It's like they found the Holy Grail of pizza textures and decided to share it with us mere mortals. Every bite had me questioning my existenceâin a good way.
I went for the Latino Connection because who doesn't love a pizza with jalapeños, banana peppers, AND sausage? This thing brought the heat, the flavor, and the kind of spice that makes you reevaluate your life choices (again, in a good way). The Forget About It pizza is appropriately named because once you try it, you'll forget every other pizza place in town. Sorry, Papa John, it's over.
The menu is insaneâin the best way. Theyâve got wings, burgers, and even a Chicken Coza Nostra sandwich. I don't know who Coza Nostra is, but if he's got sandwiches like that, sign me up for his crew. And let me tell you, the garlic knots? Absolute perfection. If theyâre tossing those in heaven, Iâm ready to go.
But letâs not skip dessert! The tiramisu was so good, I started googling "how to marry a dessert." If Tony's added wedding officiants to their services, theyâd make a killing.
The service was quick, the portions were massive, and the vibe was exactly what you want from a pizza joint. Crunchy, doughy, saucy, cheesy bliss. I might never eat anywhere else again. 10/10, would trade my soul for another slice of that...
Read moreAs soon as I walked into Tony's, I was warmly greeted by the staff, setting a positive tone for my dining experience. As someone who values cleanliness, I appreciated the opportunity to wash my hands before being seated, and I was pleased to find the restroom impeccably clean and tidy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting, with well-lit interiors that create a comfortable and welcoming ambiance, especially noticeable during evening visits.
Upon approaching the counter, I was impressed by the wide selection of pizzas on display. While waiting for my order, I engaged in a delightful conversation with one of the employees about the local area, highlighting the friendly and personable nature of the staff. When my food arrived, I was delighted to find that the pizza lived up to the high expectations set by the restaurant's atmosphere and service. The sauce was particularly noteworthy, bursting with flavor and adding an extra dimension to each bite.
I opted for a slice of veggie and Hawaiian pizza, both of which were incredibly tasty and satisfying. As someone who recently moved back to the area, I'm grateful to have discovered Tony's. From the flavorful sauce to the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere, it's clear that this establishment takes pride in providing a top-notch...
