Do NOT recommend! It started when we tried to make a reservation and kept getting an answering service with no option to leave a message. We took a chance and walked in. There were 3 tables occupied and we were made to feel as if we were being done a favor by being seated. Wish we had left because it gets worse from there.
We ordered the cauliflower appetizer which wound up being the best part of our meal. They do not have any tea other than sweetened green tea. My friend got a bottled root beer and I ordered water and got a bottle of Fiji water. My friend ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and I got the Italian chicken sandwich. When my friend's sandwich came it looked like a small.chicken tender on a huge bun with a few pieces of burnt bacon on top (she had asked to add bacon). Seriously, I've seen bologna that was thicker and it didn't even cover half the bun. When she put the bun together you couldn't even see the chicken. We asked the waitress and she said she would tell the chef, but thats the way it came. Meanwhile, my piece of chicken was 3 times thicker and so big it hung off the bun. They forgot the bacon on my sandwich (was listed as coming with it on the menu) and added lettuce, tomatoes and onion which was supposed to be on my friend's sandwich. Then, my friend picked her sandwich up and it was completely blue on one side with mold. HUGE mold spots the size of a quarter. We called the waitress back over and she grabbed both our plates off the table and apologized. She said that's part of living on the island. But isn't checking to make sure your bread isn't covered in mold part of life here too especially if you're serving it to people who are paying $13 for a chicken tender and burnt bacon? She came right back with the check. She took my friend's sandwich off the bill, but charged for everything else including the meal she had just taken from in front of me. $35 for some cauliflower, a root beer and a water. We had to walk next door to get dinner because neither of us got to eat. Will...
Read moreIf I can give this place 0 stars I would. But they can get one star for seating me without a reservation. Dinned her a few weeks ago and was encouraged to post my experience to warn others. Food was terrible, felt bad for being seating without a reservation so I told the hostess/manager at the end and she got defensive. Paid the bill anyway. Was sick for a whole day.
This place is reservations only and when I was seated the place was empty, the whole time sitting there only one group of four came in. The hostess was basically rushing us throughout the whole time and claimed that she checked up on me but no she was just trying to get the table cleared. Oh and if you leave a bad review of this place the staff will come after you, and owner is the same way. Staff claimed that I ordered a bunch of food and ate all of it but couldn’t prove it. I only ate the appetizer and drink which was stale nachos with tasteless milk sauce. (I was starving and felt bad so I only ate that) Becuase of my bad experience with their entrée, spaghetti and meatballs, I can no longer enjoy it anymore without gagging. Heads up they put sugar in their sauce and don’t fully cook their meatballs.
No I was not rude to the staff, and no I was not planning to dine and dash, no one dines and dashes on disgusting food.I left two full entrees on the table and their to go plates the the hostess gave me trying to...
Read moreCame with a party of 7. Upon arrival we were told that there was no way to split the check. (First red flag.) Although it was an inconvenience we agreed to dine there. WORST DECISION EVER. Our server who had an accent that turned on and off (Second red flag.) suggested we sit at 2 tables to split the check 2 ways. Which made us think if you can do separate tables just ring it up as if we are all sitting separately. We proceeded to order started with drinks. *although seating is mainly outside you can not take your mask off until you all receive your drinks (Third red flag). I ordered the crab legs with corn and salad. The waitress said they were well seasoned and made by locals. The crabs smelled HORRIBLE.! They had no seasoning and just tasted like sea water. (Red flag 4.) After finishing our meals the waitress informs us that there card system went down and that they are only accepting cash. If we don’t have cash a member of our party could go next door to the atm. Guys the atm fee was 8.50. On top of that a lot of our party had CREDIT cards so they couldn’t get the money off the atm. Our party had $94 cash. The bill was $133. Instead of taking the $40 loss for their system failure they called the cops on us. I had to cashapp the owner the $39 difference. It was by far the worst experience I’ve had in St. Thomas so far. 10 out of 10 DO...
