Its been a couple of years since I've gotten food here. The prices have definitely gotten worse, and the food isn't even as good anymore. Smaller portions, the "spicy" boneless wings didn't taste like they used to in terms of flavor, and forgetting included sides. But what I'm most annoyed about is the online ordering and how I was basically forced to give a tip, as well as a convenience fee? What exactly is not "convenient" about coming to pick up an order?? Its not delivery! So anyways, the online ordering system (directly from their website by the way) automatically charged a tip and gave me NO option for it, and had not even showed me what my checkout would be before i clicked "place order". For example, my shopping cart only showed me each item, and a subtotal of all said items together. But NO "convenience fee" or a "tip". So I click "place order" and then all of a sudden, I'm charged a 12$ tip and this other fee for a pick up order... Very clever way of robbing people. And i was planning on giving a cash tip when I picked up the food because that is what i prefer to do rather than charge my card. I probably wont...
Read moreThe biggest thing standing out that makes me give this place a low rating was the pace of the service. The staff were all somewhat flustered and if not that, they had a very indifferent attitude.
It took a long time to get seated because the hostest had difficulty managing parties that wanted to put their name down. Given that the restaurant is somewhat small, I really didnt feel that it should take so long to manage setting up tables for waiting parties in between taking names.
It can be infuriating when you see tables repeatedly open up, yet you aren't being seating for 15+ minutes after you are told you are about to be seated. That was my experience.
Even after being seated, it took a while to be greeted by a server even though they didnt have a lot of parties seated.
The food was relatively good, but they added some very odd twists to classic Korean dishes. My friend has mozzarella cheese sprinkled over her dish, while I had quinoa and portobello mushrooms added to my bibimbap. I was a little thrown off and personally not thrilled, but their food...
