We visited two weekends ago, and our daughter had a magical time. We made a broom, a hat, and a potion with Emme. She is the Good Witch’s apprentice. It was the first time I witnessed my child looking up to a young adult as a role model. This organization has a fabulous message: teach children coping skills, emotional intelligence, and magic of creativity. We will be back. Price is in the moderate side. All 3 activities cost around $110. Which for what we experienced was well worth it. I would say, I think there should be other colors in the hat activity other than pink. The branding seems to be on the feminine side. I would love to see more gender inclusive things and other colors for all the kiddos just in case they do not like pink and flowers. Wizard hats, and witch hats of various colors, capes etc. I think perhaps wand making and other magical crafting would be great too. Just a suggestion to be able to reach and inspire all the children, not just the girls. We love Emme and the Good Witch! Please tell Aura to connect with the cat distribution system or the Magical Familiar Academy to send us a kitty of our own, if she is capable of such a...
Read moreThere aren’t enough stars here or in the sky for a proper rating!! I feel so grateful to be able to raise our son in Salem and to make memories with The Good Witch! We’ve been lucky enough to attend a few events now, most recently bringing some friends to the Bunny Tea Party. It was the most adorable Sunday morning ever!! All of the kids had such a great time, the bunnies were stuffed with clouds, a crystal of their choosing, moon dust and more! So so cute! And my son was beyond thrilled to have “real” pink tea! I absolutely had to hold back happy mom tears.
My favorite part of any event with the Good Witch of Salem is her message about the magic all of us have within, that we use when spreading love & kindness towards ourselves and those around us. She really has the warmest presence that keeps the kids’ attention .
The moments we’ve shared here are some of my most treasured and I want my boy to stay little so we can continue to go back forever!! We need a spell for this, Good Witch! I thank Ashley for her big heart and creating such incredibly special (perfectly...
Read moreWhen planning our visit to Salem, I wanted to find an activity that was kid-friendly for my 6-year-old son, so I was excited to come across The Good Witch shop and their wizard transformation.
It appears they definitely do more "witch" vs. wizard transformations because there weren't many color options often associated with boys. This was fine for us since my son loves the color purple. However, it’s worth noting that the transformation options were slightly different from what's shown in the online photo (no grey hats, no blue starry cape, at least during our time there) -- something to consider if you're booking a wizard experience. A t-shirt was included in the package, but again they didn't have unisex cuts. Regardless, he had an amazing time and got compliments on his witch/wizard hat all weekend! The shop was adorable, magical, and they took great care of him. Plus it wasn’t too busy, so we were able to add on potion making, which he said was the highlight...
