The options for “Mexican food” in Salem are abundant, but they will not beat out El Poblano. Reminiscent of Anna’s in Boston (if you know, you know) Tried the carnitas burrito, and my partner had the pollo tinga burrito, and both were absolutely amazing. They’re working on their dine in capacity (we dined in and there only 2 chairs) but everything was clean and decor/design was super nice. Definitely a huge upgrade from Spitfire. Highly recommend and I truly hope this place stays around for a long time !!!

This cozy spot in downtown Salem, MA packs a flavorful punch. The staff radiates warmth and hospitality, making every visit feel like a welcome home. The menu is impressively diverse—perfect for repeat visits without ever getting bored. I tried the tacos and they were bursting with flavor. And the prices? A total steal. If you're looking for delicious food, friendly vibes, and unbeatable value, this place is a must-visit.

Wow! I ordered take out. This place is so yummy and amazing. I didn’t take pictures of the shrimp nor fish cause I was so hungry! But I am amazed. The shrimp taco, the Al pastor taco, and fish taco was my favorite. The salsa is homemade and excellent. The best tacos I ever had -hands down. I’ll be back!

Bought a 12” “Super” Burrito - server put in very little meat/cheese and 2 little squirts of sour cream - when I requested a little more I was charged extra for each item. A$9.75 turned into $14. He had to roll the burrito several times to close it as it had such little filling. I should’ve ordered the 10” would’ve receive the same amount and would’ve paid only for sour cream. When someone came in that didn’t look like me - his sandwich was hearty and filled with meat and sides. BUYER BEWARE - if they like your look you get more - just FYI. My first and last time. Food was mediocre at best. Not worth the $$ - Stock with Chipotle or try some place else. ...

They're just okay. Today was the second time I ordered from here and I'm not too sure if I'll go back. The first time i went, I ordered the fish tacos. Those weren't bad, but the size for the price is insane. The tacos are really small (like street tacos). Today i ordered a super burrito and had them add jalapeños and guacamole. I couldn't taste the Pico, or the jalapeños until I got the last quarter of the burrito and the guacamole wasn't visible until I got to the last quarter as well. The burrito was bland until I got down to the last 3 bites. This place isn't as great as the place that was there prior, buy its better than the one...
