Calzones are very good, very large portions. Crust is perfectly cooked, no burning. Seasoned very well. Pizza was amazing. And that's putting it lightly. Margarita had perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and other toppings. I have never eaten 5 slices in my life. By far one of the best Pizza's I've eaten. (Review was saved by the pizza) Their house made sodas were perfect companions to the pizza. Mozzarella sticks were a little bland, but the sauce was fine. Area is a bit outdated, but it had a very nice "vibe" to it. One complaint about design is the bathroom. Men's bathroom is very dirty. Not sure if it's the same for the women's. Pros: Great Pizza, Calzones, Soda, awesome smell, generous portions. Cons: A little outdated and mozzarella sticks were ok. I am happy to say I recommend Engine House Pizza!

Ordered a couple of pizzas and when I opened them up, there was a clear difference between the two. Called to just ask to replace the pizza since clearly it wasn’t even fully cooked and was told the owner would call me back. He didn’t so I called again and when he got on the phone, he argued with me and told me it was my fault. I’ll never go back and would not recommend this place when there’s so many other quality pizza places on the north shore. It’s interesting how much care was taken in replying to this review but yet it took me three separate calls to even reach the owner. Apparently the takeaway is that I threw one pizza across the street while the other that sat on top of it the whole time made it through the journey intact perfectly fine. Hard pass but thanks for the very in-depth reply.

Went here on vacation once and got a pepperoni pizza with cheesy fries and bacon loved the food met the owner great atmosphere great food but we went back a second time (the only restaurant we went back to again) and I asked for a horseshoes (which is a Midwest thing where I’m from) the owner looked perplexed as he had never heard of that I explained it and he made one for the first time top 3 horseshoes I’ve ever had even if you order a pizza highly recommended those cheesy fries with bacon Scott and his crew were fantastic they got one of the best reviews I could possibly leave one of the best parts of my stay was this little restaurant if you’re in town I highly recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!

Update: Adding to this review to say they are under new ownership as of August 2022. I definitely need to give it a try again.

They advertised 33% cash back up to $10 back via the GetUpside app (now just "Upside") which was why went there for dinner. Got a 3/5 star buffalo chicken calzone, a beer and a 4/5 star hot dog w/ raw onion. Total was $37 so $10 back was expected via the app. Restaurant never submitted/validated the receipt. Not sure how it works but felt a bit bait and switched. Possible the annoyance should be taken up with the Upside app not Engine House.

Food was decent to good, location was fun to watch the commuter mania, but it's not a frequent flier for me, I prefer other style calzones/pizza.

Original: 2022-07 Updated: 2024-11-05 Added clarification of reward program, updated app name, updated final words to reflect infrequency of visits. I have only been twice and live...

This place has the best pizza in town but it's impossible to find anywhere to park to get to the place. So delivery is pretty important and they don't seem to want to bother with it anymore. And no more online ordering? Why make getting food from you so inconvenient? They say they've been trying to find drivers for well over a year now and I don't see anything changing. And the guys working at the counter don't seem to give a damn about anything. Very poor attitudes. So I'll be saying goodbye to this place sadly. Good food doesn't matter when your service is terrible. Straighten up your act guys.

Update: Just noticed today that the place has been under new ownership since 2022. So no wonder it's gone downhill so bad. I guess the modern business model is don't care about your food or customers and still expect to make money. Thanks for ruining a...

Last night I went here with my friends and boyfriend. We order a pizza and picked it up. I went inside to grab some napkins for us. As I walked inside I slipped and fell. Not one of the workers asked if I was alright. Mind you none of them were wearing face masks, there was water all over the floor like puddles and there was no wet floor signs anywhere. The only thing they said was “your wearing the wrong shoes” and “put a mop floor sign” after the fact I slipped and fell. I was gonna flip out on them but I was just too embarrassed from falling so I walked out. My knee and leg are bruised and still sore from last night. I would not recommend going there. I never really liked them anyways. I should really call the state inspection people and really get them shut down. They should be lucky I don’t sue either cause I’m really...
