McDonald's — Restaurant in Salem

The service is good. The workers in there are dedicated and always helpful. The McDonald app sucks though. There are hardly any offers lately. The cost of the meals are high compared to other fast food restaurants and it's not like they offer better quality. They shoild do a customer and market study. The only good deals was the app promised to lower the cost and now the cost of the meals are too high and not really worth the price. There are never any deals on the salads and seriously the app doesn't even work half the time . They need to fire the people who are in charge of maintaining the apps or deciding the deals on the apps. Obviously the data scientists are just trying to save money and not keep regular customers, which is stupid. The app does not even work, too many errors. It needs to work at all times. Very inefficient. A customer should have access to default deals at all times. Maybe they should hire me. Maybe if they hired quality people like me who live and work here and are really qualified to do the job, they wouldn't be having such problems. The workers in this workplace are from many countries, but they know how to do their job and understand the customer's needs. Maybe the IT people need to work...

Fully staffed the restaurant still feels empty as though it were some horrific Disneyland animatronic show. Moving bodies are stationed throughout the kitchen producing only the illusion of work. From the mob of hungry guests that stand waiting at the cash register whatever you would call the opposite of a winner is selected and they are gifted the opportunity to try and place an order. Sadly their pilgrimage is in vein. They have at this point waited in line for so long they've questioned every life choice that has brought them here and finally now they may pay for their order and watch as the hive goes to work. In only 15-25 mins they will receive a greasy bottom bag with their receipt and inside that bag are for sure some McDonald's Menu items they are almost for sure not the items they ordered but at least while the underpaid worker was seemingly intentionally messing up the order, they didn't also walk across the street to the Wendy's, order a Dave's single with cheese, and then kick the burger like a school child does a pebble on the walk back to his abusive drunken uncle's apartment, then place the tatrered burger in the bag as a final insult to the hunger games esque lottery winner at the order...

I have been eating breakfast here every day for 3 months. This location has the largest biscuit's of local McDonalds, in my opinion. Baked perfect, a lil crispy...

They struggle between 7-9 am though.11-5-17 I order large Coke no ice.... surprise..it has ice.. 11-6-17 I waited 11 min in drive thru for BEC biscuit...got down the road...no napkins ( are they extra?) So 11-7-17 I make it a point to ask for napkins, and no ice in the coke...this time I get no spoon for the oatmeal...

Are you kidding me?

I don't recall working a drive thru, 20 years ago, being difficult...double check the food, hand out the drink....napkins, straw, spoon or fork...ask about condiments...

I could come tomorrow observe for an hour and do much better...in fact I would like to volunteer, for free...to help...
