Rizzo's Roast Beef & Pizza — Restaurant in Salem

I had the most ridiculous and unacceptable experience with Rizzos this weekend. I placed a large order for work this past Friday. I made and paid for the order in person several days in advance. I called the morning of to make sure everything was set. The woman on the phone mentioned an order for Saturday under my name. I told her I didn't have an order for Saturday, only one for Friday. She found the order and said everything was all set and it would be there at noon, as requested. My order (3 party pizzas and a party salad) was over half an hour late being delivered, but otherwise fine.

The next day, a delivery driver showed up with a massive order, 8 party sized pizzas, insisting it was for us. He was rude to my employees and was demanding payment. I then received a very angry and threatening phone call from the owner claiming he had a recording of me making that order and would take legal action if I refused to pay for it. I told him there must have been a clerical error on his end because, not only had I not made an order for Saturday, I had specifically told the woman on the phone that I did not make a second order for Saturday. I have never been spoken to so rudely in my life as I was by this man. Ultimately he said he would call me back once he "made an investigation " into what had happened. It is now Monday and I haven't heard back. I will decidedly be taking my business elsewhere...

I called today to ask if they sell hotdogs since google said they did. I also read a review that said that people love the hotdogs off the grill from here. When the woman answered the phone I said hello and asked if they sell hotdogs. She rudely replied and said excuse me like I had insulted her so I repeated my question. She answered with yes we do so I just asked if they were all beef and she said no so I asked well what are they because I've never ordered from you before. The women rudely replied and said well they are not all beef. So a little annoyed at this point over a simple question I asked her so you don't know what is in the products you are selling she said I don't know I guess they are chicken and pork I don't know with an attitude. Just rude...

Eight of us on vacation and hungry. Found a menu and were surprised by the options. There was something for everyone. Do we decided to go. Upon our arrival, the staff and owners were very patient with us, answering all questions enthusiastically. Our eight meals were ready quickly. The portion sizes were huge. I am a big eater and was not able to finish my meal. I ordered the Buffalo chicken finger dinner, it came with a salad, fries and onion rings. All of us had food left over. Everything was so delicious. The owner makes his own hot sauce, which I thought was delicious. I highly recommend and hope to return before going back home to Buffalo.
