Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Salina

"We must be invisible." These are the exact words I heard from the man in front of me while standing in line waiting to order. I held the door for a couple as we were entering the restaurant at the same time. They were joined by their high school aged boys, and tried to let me go in front of them, but I declined. The store was NOT full, with many empty tables. Only one person was ahead of us as we approached the register. The woman at the register took that person's order, then turned her back on us and walked away without a word. We waited 5-10 minutes for someone to return and take our orders. While waiting for my takeout order I shopped the store for ice cream, then stood in a line of four again to try to pay. One person was buying 4 gallons of milk, and the comment was made that she could have driven across town to Walmart quicker. The final nail in the coffin was when I got back on the road, then discovered the French fries were mushy, still raw in the middle. Unless you want ice cream, I would go a half block further and pull into the Spangles. Service is better, and so...

I am editing my review bc it won't let me make 2. So my last review was awful. Most complaints were about the manager disrespecting her staff in front of customers, lack of cleanliness, slow service, and awful food. Today we gave it a 2nd chance. Last time we dined in. This time I went in for milk. I was promptly checked out, and the employee was very nice and had gave great customer service. While I was in I noticed they were very busy, but everyone was get orders efficiently. It was also very clean inside the store, and behind the check out counters. We then went through the drive threw and were amazed at how fast they got us our food. The drive through employee was also very nice and great customer friendly. When we got home to eat it was the best braums meal we have ever had. Fries, burgers, milkshakes, and limeade were all perfect. Thank you braums for your improvement, and you have won our...

I've been a longtime Braum's fan since I was a kid. That being said, I think it's time to address some of the issues I've experienced.

•Have had multiple experiences with the food being lukewarm or even cold. Along with that, I've sometimes gotten burgers with what appeared to be stale bread and cold meat. I've never worked at a Braum's but I hope they're not just reheating these in a microwave or something.

•Multiple times have been asked to pull around to wait on an order, with ~10-15min wait time. If something is going to take long, I would expect a notice of some sort. And adding to the previous gripe, if I'm waiting this long for my food items like my fries should not be cold when they bring it out.

Those are the big problems I've experienced personally. I'm not angry about what's happened I just wish it wouldn't happen. The staff is always friendly and professional and the building is always clean. I just hope they fix...
