Sbarro — Restaurant in Salina

I've been a few times already and the food tastes pretty good. The staff, well most dont really want to work, but tonight I came almost at close to order a whole pizza the kids working both informed me it was a little close to closing time but asked a man who I'm guessing is the manager if they had time to make it and he said of course! So he went back himself and made me the pizza! I do believe they called him Ed. So thank you kind sir for being great at customer service! You're the first person in this location that was kind and I didn't feel like was annoyed by my pizza loving purchase! Even the grown adults that have helped me during day time hours make you feel very uncomfortable like you are bothering them by ordering a slice. Its definitely sad when people work in customer service with no customer...

The pizza is good… although we always have issues with the pizza not being cut all the way through. The cheese usually slides right off. The biggest issue I have is the same as the many others that have left reviews… the flies. It grosses me out seeing the flies all over the food. I know it’s a difficult thing to control- but surely there is something that can be done to control the numbers. I tried to snap a picture of flies just sitting on the pizza. I’d think with the number of people complaining- this would be something that Sbarro would attempt to correct, rather than suggesting to fill out comment cards.

So disappointed and sad.....after waiting for years for the return of Sbarro pizza. Visit one: flies covered the slices, and nobody in sight so I could order a whole pie. Visit two: flies covered the slices and nobody in sight so I could order a whole pie. Visit 3: no flies, and I was able to order an entire pie! I emphasized EXTRA SAUCE, because it is usually a bit skimpy. I return and get home to find that it is mostly all bread and cheese....perhaps 5 TABLESPOONS of sauce.
